Hi all, Just to clear up some misconceptions...1st off the new version of vBulletin 2.x is faster than the old one in many ways but mostly in database indexing and such. Second is that there are alot of new features for the admin as well as the moderators (who now get their own control panel). The users also have alot of added functionality as well. Some of the new features are:

Thanks for your post. Unfortunately 2.0 is exponentially greater in terms of server load. It's a great piece of software but I don't know if it's ready for deployment on such high volume sites as DVD Talk |

I thought the buddy feature had merit and could become fun. I never have been big for polls and had hopes it would become a moderator only feature for when they wanted to ask us something. |
I'm in the process of writing some hacks for the Gold release and will be making Polls and Attachments a selectable item in the control panel, as for Polls for Moderators and Admins only...hmmm sounds like a nice idea, I could whip that up...
