This is why i hate DVDS you buy a special edition of it then 2 years later they release a better version of it. Freakin' sucks i would have bought the 5 Disc Dawn of the Dead instead of the Divmax one i already have.

According to the latest Entertainment Weekly, Lion Gate and Anchor Bay entertainment is going to dig into Artisans old vaults to create some specail edition discs.

There's an interview on this very site with David Cronenberg which suggests that there won't be a special edition of 'The Fly' anytime soon; you might want to either remove the entry or update it to reflect what Cronenberg says (paraphrased: he won't participate in a special edition unless he's allowed to supervise a new transfer, and they don't want to do that, so he won't do a commentary, so there probably won't be a special edition).
