Booklets in SE/LE Sets

Just curious for those who collect box sets with readable booklets… do you really ever getting around to reading all of the info contained in them?…hmmm

No, almost never. The ones I have read are hit or miss, sometimes they are well informed and other times they miss the mark.

It really depends upon print size ....

I at least look at them. Given how little printed material is in current releases, what is included should be read.

I know that I've looked through a few, which ones I can't really say because my memory isn't what it used to be. I know I read the comic books included with the Maze Runner BDs, and I know I've read through others. The booklets that provide character/actor info, production notes, sometimes I'll glance through them, sometimes I'll actually read through the whole thing (if it's something that interests me). Not always, but sometimes...

I don't give much thought to booklets as a rule, but whenever I open a disc that has one, I get a pang of nostalgia for when that was more common. Whenever I sit down to go through all the content of a disc, I'll take the time to read booklets. Usually, I go through them after watching all the disc content. I'm glad Criterion put their essays online because on at least one occasion that I can't recall clearly just now, I had a difficult time reading the font they used for a booklet and ended up reading the online version.

Booklets are often more interesting for me on genres I know little about.
