Safe Lists
The following lists are Automatic Safe lists. They are not definitive and there might be exceptions therein, especially concerning Distributors. Generally, the presence of those on the lists in an actual creative capacity (that is, more than just a cameo or bit part. For instance, Bruce Campbell appearing in Spider-Man does not make Spider-Man safe) is enough to make a film safe. Got more? Post them and I'll update the list. Obviously, films not including these participants are safe, too. Update: I added several new names to the actors list. Some of these actors appeared in actual big budget Hollywood fare, but most of their career was in B-Movies, then obviously discard the Big Hollywood movies and just watch the B's (For example, William Shatner. Ignore Star Trek movies but anything else is fair game. Or Patrick Swazye. Ghost is probably not right, but most of his other films were B-Movies).

Just finished a first time watch of Keoma (1976). While I was watching it I kept getting Art film vibes or at least something I'm mistaking for Art film vibes. Sat through a bunch of Spaghetti Western trailers today, and just got the itch to watch one. I was going to rent Keoma from Prime, for a reasonable price too, but it turns out I've already got it on blu, so free beats reasonable.

Watching ‘Italian Star Wars’ , aka Starcrash on YouTube right now. Christopher Plummer, The Hoff and Caroline Munro. I’m loving this.

My Milligan set unexpectedly showed up a couple of days early, so I went ahead and dug in, despite normally reserving Saturday for faster-paced action movies. Watching Legacy of Blood after just catching The Amazing Mr. No Legs was a very weird transition. This looks to be yet another winner from Severin, and like the Adamson set, I'm in no rush whatsoever to get through it.

Mine just arrived today, but I have some friends coming over in a couple weeks and we're going to binge the set. I'm trying to make my way through the Adamson set and the Something Weird Forbidden Fruit series.

We're about half-way through the Challenge and it looks like if I can keep up my current pace, it looks like I'll make fifty by the end of the Challenge. The last 10 days have been fairly easy; just an hour-ish of trailers (I figure the trailers average around three minutes each, more or less, and between 20-23 trailers is about right) and if I feel like it, a movie afterwards. I've actually watched a couple of movies because I watched the trailer that night or the night before. I've got one more night of trailers (The Hard Naked Truth) and I'll be done with this compilation set. Thinking about cracking the first Trailer Trauma set, but I don't want to over do it.

With life being hectic for me, not the least of which was my cousin being in COVID-19 ICU for three weeks, until he got home on Good Friday, and him still dealing with the poor health after usually associated with it, I don’t think I will have a lot of watches in by the end of the month. I still have fun in this Challenge, however. Just finished watching Hercules Against The Moon Men , from the Mill Creek Warriors set. As soon as I saw the title, I knew I was in for a good time. The title alone just oozed B Movie Cheese. This was an Alan Steel vehicle. I think he actually might be one of the smaller Hercules around. Incidentally, a couple nights ago, I ended skipping past one of the movies in a previous disc. The movie was David And Goliath , and as soon as I saw Orson Welles listed as King Saul, I knew there was no way that was a B movie.

Ugh. Had my second vaccine shot yesterday and feel like warmed over garbage. Almost too shitty to watch movies, but it is getting better. Mostly watching high energy, masculine films today. Charles Bronson, Clint Eastwood, Steve McQueen.
Did want to note that HBOMax has both versions of The Warriors. The original is getting hard to find, but I've seen it a bunch. Might finally watch the Director's Cut.

Not from the vaccine, but I know the feeling Caligula. Earlier in the week, I think I had the flu and I felt terrible. Just now starting to feel better. Planned to watch Battle Beyond The Stars on YouTube, but it is only available to rent. So decided on the Dolph Lundgren version of The Punisher instead.

Ugh, I really dislike the Director's Cut of The Warriors. All the additions feel so pointless. It's worth seeing once just to see it, I guess, but mostly I'm just really annoyed that the Director's Cut is the only available version of Blu-Ray. Would love to see Vinegar Syndrome get ahold of it for their VSU line.

I watched Drive-In Delirium: With a Vengeance yesterday and I *think* that officially catches me up on all the major trailer comps, minus any commentaries. My only complaint with this one is, like the last few from Umbrella, there's really no rhyme or reason to the order or theme presentation. It went from Blaxploitation to 1940's film noir to mainstream films like Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, and whatever other left turns they throw at it. I'd also prefer they'd stick to more traditional drive-in fare, but it's still an absolute blast at six and a half hours. For potential future releases I'd LOVE to see an all Roger Corman edition with maybe a bonus Joe Dante commentary.

Watched Showdown in Little Tokyo for the first time in many years. The dialogue is terrible, but Brandon Lee and Dolph are a pretty appealing odd couple.

I got to meet Dyanne Thorne a few years ago. She and her husband ran a wedding chapel in Vegas. I asked her if she ever did Nazi/Ilsa themed weddings and she said she did. Of course this was 10-15 years ago, before the current cultural climate.

Made it through eight straight Andy Milligan films. I think I am cured from buying these career boxed sets. I figured it was like when a kid gets caught smoking so his punishment is to smoke a whole pack. Either he becomes a smoker or is cured.

In the spirit of the challenge, I surfed through Vudu Free to find the trashiest action pic that didn’t feature an MMA star, and found Escape from Ensanada. What a waste of time that was—mission accomplished!
Then watched Bruce Lee in Fists of Fury on Prime.
Currently spinning an Andy Sidaris film Malibu Express, also on Vudu Free.
