I had completely forgotten about that episode. It's been years since I watched Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated. Earlier this year I watched the original run of Scooby-Doo, Where Are You? to distract myself from obsessing over American politics, so this may be the perfect time to rewatch that series. Heck, I may need to rewatch A Pup Named Scooby-Doo too!

If anyone is interested, Hasbro uploaded a bunch of episodes of the original GI Joe series to YouTube. I found out yesterday from a Facebook group I am in.

I saw this on youtube yesterday and it seems germane:

They're doing a fundraiser on indiegogo for a full hour episode, which I assume will be shopped around. There's more than a touch of CW to it, but Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated was pretty damn dark in the first place.

Re: 2020 Action/Adventure/Crime/Mystery Challenge

I finally finished season 13 of Columbo last night. I actually have a night left to watch something different! I'd thought I might do a Star Wars marathon last weekend (the last movie came in last week) but it didn't work out. And my grandson has been watching the MCU movies on Disney +. He's up to the Captain American films and I offered to watch them on my big TV (he has a 25") and we'd watch the discs. Didn't work out. At this point, I'm not really sure just what I want to finish with...

It wasn't on my watch list, but the other night one of my daughters mentioned that she's only seen one of the Mission Impossible movies,so I had to fix that. Worked out nicely too, because we will be watching Fallout tonight.

I haven't engaged much in the thread, but I've participated on a consistent basis all month. With schools dismissing and the kids home, I've binged parts of the 4th and 5th seasons of The Flash. My son loves the show having seen every episode multiple times. Everything we've watched this week has been new to me.

That's funny because I've said the same thing to my kids about the 2nd film so they've never seen it!

It's clearly the weakest link in the MI chain, but we had fun with it.

Re: 2020 Action/Adventure/Crime/Mystery Challenge

Yesterday I started a rewatch of both Robotech, since I located my Macross Saga DVD set last month, as well as Teknoman. It didnít matter that the challenge was almost over, as I have no qualms about continuing watching things next month. This has always been one of my favorite challenges.

Re: 2020 Action/Adventure/Crime/Mystery Challenge

I opted to finish the challenge with Solo: A Star Wars Story. I enjoyed it more than the first time - for some reason it just flowed well and I got more of the "rumblings" of what's to come - little things I'd missed before hinting at the rebellion. I chose this one specifically for a watch through of the entire sage - in a new order that, at least for me, makes more sense than episode order. Here's my plan:

SOLO: A Star Wars Story
Rogue One
A New Hope
The Empire Strikes Back
The Phantom Menace
Attack of the Clones
Revenge of the Sith
Return of the Jedi
The Force Awakens
The Last Jedi
The Rise of Skywalker

The reasoning is that "Solo" takes place ~10 years before A New Hope while Rogue One leads directly into that film. Treat the Darth Vader origin trilogy as a mid-story flashback between the superior Empire and Return, then bring it all home with the final trilogy (which, IMHO, is mostly a reimagining/remake of the original trilogy).

Re: 2020 Action/Adventure/Crime/Mystery Challenge

I just finished the last update of my list and discovered I had a better challenge than I expected I would with a total of 93 items watched, mostly TV shows. I pretty much caught up with the Arrowverse shows which I had been saving up for this and checked out the first eight episodes of season five of The F.B.I. For me this is just an OK show despite it's popularity when it was first aired. The agents are all fairly bland and you know who the crooks are and what they did from the start so it's like a police procedural but the procedures are mainly stake outs and checking various data bases. I don't mean to say it's a bad show and I will watch the rest of what I have (seasons five and six) but it's not a top priority.

I want to give a nod to mrcellophane and BobO'Link for their early discussion of the Lost World movies with John Rhys-Davies. I liked the first one better than the second but both were fun and were a welcome break from cop and detective TV shows.
