Thought I was finished with TV for the month (except for maybe watching the comedy of Republicans trying to present a defense), but then Comcast had to go and give away Epix for the weekend. So far, I’ve re-visited the decent but by-the-numbers spy comedy Killers, and loved the horror musical comedy Anna and the Apocalypse. Will scan their listings for more comedies not in my collection.

Had a weird experience while watching the 5th season of Family Ties yesterday. The last 2 episodes of the season (a 2 parter) were actually filmed the year before and tacked on to the end of this particular season. I wasn't aware of it until looking it up. Suddenly the kids get younger. The youngest (Andrew) goes from being preschool age to a baby. Haven't come across a good reason why it was done this way.

My copy of the new BR of all of Abbott and Costello's Universal films arrived yesterday. Of course I opened it and started watching with their first 2 movies: One Night in the Tropics and Buck Privates. The PQ on these is excellent with nice, clear, audio. I'm about to start In the Navy and hope to get in Hold that Ghost. With 28 films I don't expect to finish them all during the challenge and I'm not rushing these. They are long time favorites and I want to savor the new high quality copies.

Watched another great film, The Peanut Butter Falcon. This might be my favorite movie of the year.

I was first struck by the odd title, but Iíve heard only good things.

Iíve been meaning to binge FT for this or the TV challenge but still havenít gotten there. I also want to finally watch The Dick Van Dyke Show, which I have on BD. Not happening this year, unfortunately.

Last night, I wasnít able to watch any Disney +, due to my internet being out all night long, and didnít come back up until after 10 this morning. Iíve been watching various things since I signed up. Among them are some comedy shorts on the 40s section of Disney Through The Decades. While I kind of enjoy the Disney Jr Mickey Mouse and others shows, nothing beats the old classics.

I just finished my first double credit viewing for the Challenge. I was browsing the Dish Guide, and came across a Thanksgiving episode of One On One , being played on Bounce.

Good job, shadokitty! I watched a couple double credits yesterday: Noelle on Disney+ (good family film, and I’ll always watch Anna Kendrick) and Anna and the Apocalypse (nothing new horror-wise, but I really liked the songs).

Watching a double-credit title will earn participants an extra entry in the prize drawing!

I watched Home For The Holidays this weekend as my double credits. I thought that I had seen it before but not one seen looked familiar, I must be confusing it with something else.

Iíve sometimes confused it with The Family Stone, but I admit I know neither film well.

Its funny that you mention that one because my co-worker and I were talking last week and these are her two favorite holiday movies. I told her I've seen Home For The Holidays (but not in long time - which I later discovered that I was wrong about) but I've never seen The Family Stone and that I'll be checking out both this season based on her recommendation.

Yeah, I have never seen it and we watched it Friday. It's one of those movies I have a blind spot for. I am aware it exists, just never got around to seeing it. Same with Reality Bites, finally watched that one last night.

My list is complete enough for now, lousy editor change screwing up the formatting.

Several cross-Challenge items including Noelle and Pilgrim.

My list is finished. It was over too soon!

I have *one* Holiday Challenge cross-over title. The only new things were episodes of Doc Martin and Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. Everything else was watching new BR copies of stuff I already have on DVD or continuing series where I'd left off - all of those are things I've seen many times over the years.

Thanks to everyone for participating in this year’s Comedy Challenge!

Let’s give people till 12/4 eod to finalize their lists. My double-counts included Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, Noelle, Anna and the Apocalypse, and various Hallmark movies. Last Christmas was too early, alas.

Thanks to David for hosting! I got a few crossovers in. I watched A Christmas Story, Charlie Brown Thanksgiving and a couple others. Did get a couple new watches in, Dead Pool 2 is the one I remember offhand, but also some favorites like, Clue. Not my most productive year, but considering how fast this month went and how busy I was, I did a pretty good job!

I knew there was an MST3K channel on Pluto TV, but near the end of the month, I found out there is a RiffTrax channel too. Then, on the last day of the month, I found out that the Three Stooges channel is still on Roku, so I snuck in a rewatch of their first short before cooking supper last night.

Thanks to davidh777 for running the challenge.

My list is complete as well. A whopping twelve comedy viewings! 2 of those were "holiday" viewings!
I usually get in more while catching up on all the sitcoms we missed during the month of October, but we hardly watched anything on our DVR this month.

I enjoyed the month of comedy. I completed 119 episodes/films. With a Hulu subscription about to expire, I watched several hours worth of Christmas sitcom episodes near the end of the month.
