Yeah, but that's part of the alleged "curse" of the movies. I don't believe in curses, but I think it would make an interesting hour or two. I had read the guy who played Robbie in the original movie was going to do one, but it never happened.

I'm watching The Perfection now. At first, I was a little worried I wasn't going to like it, but now at about the halfway mark, I'm like WTF...
EDIT: The whole movie ended up being WTF, but in a good way...I'm not sure I'll ever watch it again, but it's a movie that went in a few different directions I never saw coming.

I'll have to check out those two movies. Ya I watched The Perfection last night as well and kind of shoot myself in the foot watching the trailer so saw one of the twists happening. But from then on, just WOW. Might be worth to watch one more time knowing the twists and seeing if I missed something (and I do enjoy Williams) but def not going to watch after that. Knowing the twist of any movie kind of kills the film with different viewings.
Based on these reviews, I watched this last night. I wanted to get into it right away before stumbling across any spoilers or reviews. I didn't even bother to read the description before hitting play.
Definitely a WTF kinda movie. But I did like it. And let's face it, Allison Williams and Logan Browning are very easy on the eyes. I'm not sure if I'll ever watch it again though because

Have we REALLY been doing this 10 years??? WOW. Well, hopefully we make it another 10! I'm game!
Unfortunately, I'm the guy this year (as this seems to happen to one member a year) that just has too much negative stuff going on to really want to watch a lot of horror. Right now and I'm watching a lot of comedy, as I need the laughs. So this year I may be out completely, and that sucks as I always really enjoy participating (Think I watched Void LAST year for the challenge...which is why any winners this year get a copy, as I LOVED it!!!).
Though I've considered Tucker and Dale vs. Evil, as that movie is damn funny. Maybe tonight I just do it. Anyway! Always happy to contribute and participate. I'll do more of the latter next year.
(I had the off idea last night that Chad's awesome annual horror art would make great posters. Don't know why I even mention that here, but I'd buy one!)

Prayers for a quick turnaround to wanting to watch horror Rich. Wait, that doesn’t sound right.....
Agree that The Perfection was good, great for a Netflix movie. Went in completely blind and agree that was best.

Regarding The Void, it's one of my favorites from the past 3 years. Love the whole assault on a hospital vibe, and then you have the the wheels flying off Hellraiser style in the basement.

I hope things turn around for you Rich. I remember last year that person was me, as right on October 1, we had our dog put to sleep, plus we had lost our gas well thanks to a crack in the tank.

Also on Netflix, I liked the recent Israeli The Golem. Reviewer comments had me expecting something arty and slow-moving, but I thought this had a mainstream feel to it (despite being a period piece). If you're familiar with other tellings of the story (including the 60s Japanese Daimajan movies), you shouldn't expect a wall-to-wall monster movie. But I was surprised at how gory this ended up being when the title creature lets loose. And this also fits into the sub-genre of killer children.

I've been meaning to revisit The Void after seeing it constantly playing on Shudder TV, so might have to dig out my Blu-ray. I've been hankering for some good cosmic horror while waiting for Richard Stanley's Color Out of Space.
Thanks, I have fun making them. Always been a fan of retro poster art and enjoy creating my own little universe. Unfortunately the massive copyright issues might be a bit of a hindrance if I tried to sell them.

Everyone seems to hate on Doom Asylum but I thought it was fun. Am I the only one that enjoyed it?

Thanks. I'll see it one way or another, but it's just one of those things when you've been looking forward to something all day and then you realize you waited all day and now you'll have to wait some more. I started to do a live TV trial week through hulu, only to realize it's not available on my PS4... but I will see this episode, just not live, apparently.

If anyone hasn't seen The Haunting Of Hill House on Netflix, I suggest you drop everything and go watch it right now. It's one of the best haunted house shows/movies I've ever seen.

I used a wildcard, and I see at least a couple of others are counting it straight-up. Given the subject matter, tone, and content I can't imagine anyone would have any problems counting it at least as a wildcard.

Tonight I'm doing a triple feature of 90's "body snatcher" movies.
The Faculty (1998)
Body Snatchers (1993)
The Puppet Masters (1994)

Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 15th Annual "October Horror Movie Challenge" (10/1 - 10/31)
My boyfriend had never seen Scream, so I convinced him to watch it with me last night. He enjoyed it, and even after 20+ years of rewatches it's still a damn good fun time for me. I just realised I probably first watched it before my boyfriend was even born, god that makes me feel old and creepy (seven year age gap).
I watched Zombie Strippers for today's theme and honestly I wasn't expecting much but it was actually quite fun. Dumb, but fun.
