In theory, it seems I should be able to watch everything Shudder has through Amazon Prime's interface. Has anyone tried?
According to Shudder:
Yes, we do have a PS4 app in the works! In the meantime, you can watch Shudder on PS4 by subscribing to our service through Amazon Prime and then watching through their Prime Video app.

I stream Shudder through Amazon Prime. I've never had any problems doing so; in fact, it's a lot easier than trying to keep up with three different streaming platforms (I also subscribe to Fandor through Amazon).

There's a couple of things you won't get with Shudder on Amazon - the three "live" channels (Shudder TV) and the live feed of The Last Drive-In, if that matters to you. Of course the episodes are usually available on demand by the next day.

I love Shudder a lot but occasionally a movie doesn't seem to make it to the Amazon app. I show that God Told Me To (one of the subset movies) and at least The Mimic is not on the Amazon app right now but I can get it on my computer.

Just go to their website. Clicking on a movie let me see a menu at top that seems to be a big listing: https://www.shudder.com/movies

Ok, got my viewing schedule set, my movies are pulled... I'm ready to go! I'm kicking off with Halloween III: Season of the Witch. I've been holding onto the remastered version for months now, excited to finally watch it. What is everybody body else starting with?

Since I got to babysit, Nightmare Before Christmas and Coraline are going to start me out.

Thank you. Really got to dig to find anything good. Think I found maybe 10 or so movies. At least they got Mandy. Anyone enjoy their exclusive movies?

Probably going to start off with a Showa Godzilla film for the Theme Night.

Carnival of Souls - Rifftrax
The Lure

I've had a cold for over a week, so up until today, I've been binging baseball comedies. As soon as dawn hits, I'll dive in and finish the F13 series with Jason X and then watch Videodrome to get the subset out of the way. From there, it's all spontaneous depending on my mood.

Starting out with Videodrome to satisfy the theme/checklist then either Possum, The Lifechanger, or The Golem (2019) because I'd heard good things about those. Aside from the themes/subset trying not to play ahead too much.

Starting off with Videodrome, then I'm going to pull out the 1954 Godzilla.

I think I'm going to start with the giallo trailer compilation from All
The Colors of Giallo
(2019). Flip-flopping about the documentary, because it probably has spoilers for movies I haven't watched yet, so I may go with Kriminal! a Krimi trailer compilation for the second feature. And as always, I reserve the right to change my mind at the last minute.

Going to be working on lawn maintenance for the next few hours and then hoping everything dies so I don't have to do anything else the rest of the challenge.

Going to start with Videodrome and Valerie and Her Week of Wonders. I haven't seen the latter, but I believe it will count as a horror.

The 4k remaster of The Shining is playing only once today at a nearby theater but not the rest of the week.
It starts at 7pm but I guess that's too early to count as dusk isn't it?

I'll be starting with the bonus subset pick, Videodrome, which is fitting since this was the first movie I watched for my first challenge back in 2011.

Took a look at Giallothon (2019) to check the run length and it's four bloody hours long! If I try to watch that in one night, I'll be sitting in a puddle of my liquefied brains by the time it's over. I think I'll split it into four much more manageable one hour chunks instead.

One thing I might do for tomorrow’s theme is Gamera. Revenge Of Iris is eligible for tomorrow’s theme. That would be kaiju for the theme two days in a row. I might also take advantage this month to watch Never Sleep Again. A few years ago, I bought it when it was on sale on Xbox, but I’ve only seen it once since I bought it.

I thought for sure that with Firmware upgrades and such that Blu-ray and 4K players would have a lot more updated apps.

My 4K player basically has the same apps that my cable box already has.
