Thank you! And I'm glad to see you enjoyed Messiah of Evil, that was my subset pick last year and I think that film deserves more love.

Same here, along with Antropophagus and The Washing Machine. And there's a few more that are very tempting.

Is the banner currently missing for anyone else? And is anyone noticing some images missing with last year's theme/subset table? I just wanna confirm it's a Photobucket problem, and not a forum glitch or problem on my end. I mentioned in the comments thread earlier that I didn't get around to converting everything over to a new hosting site, and I think it's coming back to bite me in the ass.

I noticed while working on this year's hybrid table there's a weird glitch where certain images will just disappear for awhile. They do eventually return, and rotate out with other random images, with zero rhyme or reason. At least I did have the good sense to switch to Imgur for the theme logos and *most* of the subset posters.

Yes. I'm not seeing the banner and some images for the theme/subset table.

That was a great appetizer; thank you. Those were mostly some good films and I especially liked Seeding of a Ghost and The Void. Looking forward to this year's challenge now more than ever - 12 more days.

Thanks for watching, guys! And does anybody know why The Terrifier and Blue Sunshine are so hard to find?

Thanks for confirming my suspicions.

And no, I haven't yet switched the banner over to Imgur just yet, but will tonight. Like I said, the images just randomly come and go for some reason.

I ordered the DVD tin directly from Shameless.

No idea, but I think Blue Sunshine is the only FilmCentrix release to date. Diabolik does currently have it though.

Terrifier is on Netflix right now. Blue Sunshine is on Shudder.
Do you mean the blu rays?

You worry me. I've been lazy and haven't started looking for subset films yet. I was at least planning to buy Blue Sunshine. I may go the Diabolik route if I can't find anything cheaper. I always feel bad that I don't order from there more anyway.

I'm still undecided at the moment as I have been preoccupied with other things. If I do participate I was thinking I'd set a goal for 30-40 this year.

I pre-ordered Nightwing (1979) and Shadow of the Hawk (1976). The disc is out on 10/2 so it'll probably show up late next week (I hope). Shadow of the Hawk should pair nicely with The Manitou (1977). Nightwing and Bats (1999) for another night.

DaveyJoe was talking about the tin on ebay earlier in the week. Went ahead and ordered it.

I had Terrifier on my list w/o really knowing it was there.

Been meaning to upgrade the DVD set... Went ahead and ordered it and this concludes all that I need for the challenge.

Has anyone been watching The Purge series on the telly?

How can you know until the checklist is done? Unless you're not doing the checklist. Oh, yeah, that's possible. :-)

I've gotten my hands on all the subset films except for Blood Beach and Dr. Caligari, which I figure are going to have to be YouTube watches. But I imagine I'll have to add at least a few more once we have the checklist.

If anyone knows of a good source for Blood Beach, let me know.

Sorry I should have specified. Yeah, I usually try to get the Blu-Rays when available because I want the highest possible quality for the montage I make at the end of the month.

I've been kind of putting it off as well and it seems like we have a good amount of obscure titles that are harder to find on mainstream retailers. I like Diabolik but it is a little more expensive than Amazon so I'm trying to decide which subset titles will be must-owns.

I haven’t been able to find Mark of the Vampire anywhere on DVD. I’d like to add it to my collection of course.
Was it ever properly released?

About $20 off a yearly sub. Not bad.
