Both tough choices. I had to go with Guillermo del Toro and then maybe the funniest horror movie ever made (tough choice between it and Tucker and Dale vs. Evil). However, all choices look pretty good so even if my choices don't win I will win.

Fangs of the Living Dead is also on Amazon Prime which is nice. I had a video of The Mad Doctor of Blood Island but I had to purge over a thousand videos last year so it may be gone.

Re: Pre-Horror Challenge 14: Building of the Optional Lists (Themes, Subset, & Checkl
Sorry for the MIA on my part. I will take Jawsploitation and from the list I choose in order...
1. Blood Beach - Had the rare opportunity to see this on the big screen a few years back and can't wait to watch it again. It's probably the wildest subversion of the shark attack trope.
or...
2. Piranha- because you can double bill it with the recent Scream Factory release of Piranha 2: The Spawing, and I enjoy both of them. I would also recommend a full on marathon of the tawdry Piranha remakes as well.
Also the CROSSOVER GROUP voting categories...
CRITERION
Dressed to Kill (1980) - One of DePalma's most personal and exciting.
COMEDY
Dave Made a Maze (2017) - Haven't seen it, but looks quite good.
Thanks for your patience, Chad.

I really did agonize over these two picks. I would really like to watch all the Criterion titles, and may end up doing just that.

It's very close, and we're doing the best we have in ages timewise.
We just just need to hear from:
indiephantom
Dick Laurent
And, unless I make any last-minute changes, the current two unclaimed themes are:
All Hallows Eve Horrifically Hideous Hellfest / Samhain: An Evening of Celtic Horror
Jawsploitation
Post 291 will have the most up-to-date info.
