Assume that all of these are available to all customers unless specifically listed as member only like the Welcome Package. Also remember that any preliminary codes are just that and BN could pull it, change the details or exclusions anything prior to release so always a bit of YMMV until the final release date
Mini FAQ
Coupons should not work for PREORDERS , Nook, Legos, Rosetta Stone, Digital, Gift Cards, Memberships, etc. There are glitches where sometimes an excluded item will be allowed but assume that is the exception to the rule

^I noticed that Neola was also in Pinocchio. So why wasn’t I able to spot her the first time? Because she was in an awful gray wig. I’m guessing that film’s cartoonish nature required them to wear those silly wigs.

Yeah, I think we were allowing a fudge up to about 30%, if that's the only qualification the movie has. I had considered making a hard 30%, but I think fudging is in the nature of this challenge. It's exploiting the system.

Re: Ninth Annual Drive-In/Exploitation/B-Movie Challenge April 1-30, 2018
Sandy Dempsey wears a particularly ugly wig early in Widow Blue! (1970), but it's part of her character (and she loses it by the end) so I didn't bother getting a screenshot. Sort of related; I noticed she had a band aid covering her tattoo (when they finally showed her right leg, they filmed her mostly from her left side) in Sex and the Single Vampire (1970), which made me wonder if the director just didn't want any of the women to be tattooed, or if she had gotten the tattoo just before filming and it was still healing.

It would be easier to list who wasn't in that movie.

Hey, did you have a favorite out of all the Schoolgirl Reports you saw? I've only seen 5 & 7 (Didn't get to finish 1)

Taking a lil' break and seeing what else has been watched:
Is this one of those few early movies where Jackie Chan is the baddie? I still haven't seen this yet.
The reason why I've never forgot this one is because it had the most polarizing fullscreen reaction I've ever had (It was like watching the movie with my face pressed against the TV) I hope you saw it in widescreen!
Oh man. You got subjected to hearing that annoying loop of that woman's moan over & over & over, didn't you? My condolences
11. WAR BUS (1986) Watchable...grab me another beer - YouTube
Thought the Warbus was going to turn into the Bangbus a few times. Director Ferdinando Baldi (under an alias) keeps sexual tension high by casting a few female missionaries to distract the macho mercenaries. Standard B fare Namsploitation for this ride. 5.5/10

What I'm about to watch!
25. Sinner's Blood (1969)*
After their mother dies, two young women, one a slut and the other reserved, go to live with their aunt and uncle in a small town. Things do not go well. Sex, violence, and sleaze with a story that never really focuses and that's before the lame bikers hit town to disrupt a church social or the LSD trip. Kind of a mess but you can't take your eyes off it. 6/10

13. The Pom Pom Girls (1976) A pre-Revenge of the Nerds Robert Carradine stars as the leader of a group of rebellious fun-loving teenagers. Pretty entertaining as a look back into the 70's. Cheryl "Rainbeaux" Smith also stars. However I've found out that the version I have in my Too Cool For School box set released by Mill Creek is edited. That seems strange since the other movies I've seen have plenty of nudity so why should this one be edited? Strange.

On a woman, yes.
Sorry I've gotten behind on my comments on my list.
The first two are pretty good. The third one takes a really dark turn, then they even out again after that with a mix of drama and comedy and drop the man in the street interviews. As for a "favorite," probably #4 because of Christina Lindberg, and it follows my least favorite, #3, so it probably looks better than it is in comparison to that one.
She's also in #6, which features clips from the earlier films in one segment (yes it's a "clip show").
But Neola Graef was in it.
I think that Mill Creek copy still has the male nudity intact though. Here's my note from the first challenge.
I remember thinking that some projectionist maybe stole the "good scenes" from whatever copy they used.

The Pom Pom Girls (1976) {IMDb User Rating: 5.2/10 233 votes} Not a lot going on in this one. It did have Rainbeaux Smith and Robert Carradine in it, so it had that going for it at least. I was almost half way through the version in the Too Cool for School Collection before I figured out/remembered that that was the chopped up copy missing the female nudity. Luckily the one in Drive-In Cult Classics Vol. 3 is the uncut (albeit open matte) version from the Starlite Drive-In sets, so I switched over to it.

I enjoyed The Van too, even though it was the "throw away" film on that side of the disc.
Flipped the disc over to find The Beach Girls (or something like that) and The Hunk. I'll probably watch them to complete the disc. Not expecting much from them.

Yes, it is, but he's barely in the movie. I own the Shout!/Timeless 2-fer which also includes New Fist Of Fury. It's a pretty good print but has a bit of a pink cast to the video and has only the dubbed audio.

I started with aspirations to finish the checklist, but I'm going to fall well short of that - especially since I am I helping my parents with kitchen renovations this weekend. It's been a great month, and I'm hoping to get several more viewing in before Tuesday. I've been watching a lot of films that aren't typical of my usual viewing habits which has been a lot of fun. I'll have to do a write-up of my favorite discoveries.

How can one disc have both The Pom Pom Girls and Hunk? TPPG was a delightfully fun film, reminiscent of Dazed & Confused and American Graffiti, whereas Hunk was a lousy, boring and snoozefully stupid film. Thank god the other two films on the disc had lots of exploitation-redeeming boobies. LOL!
I also found a copy of Zeta One on Blu-ray from Jezebel that I must have bought at some point and immediately forgot about. Good time to find it! It was a pretty good 60's spy-spoof romp with those same exploitation-redeeming features.

Damn, but did this one fly. As usual, remember to number and total your lists. I'm getting older and it's too hard to count up those little first time view symbols. Have the lists complete by next weekend. If you have a special marathon next weekend, try to update as soon as you can.

Made my 50 last night (with Avengers: Infinity War at the local drive-in). Should finish up tonight with 51 or 52. Also, I'm pretty sure I win the no-prize for most movies seen at a drive-in (three).

Yeah, local drive-in had Infinity War and Black Panther, which I hadn't seen either. I saw the Ang Lee Hulk at a Drive-in and I won't do that again. I decided I wanted a more premium format, so I went to IMAX 3D. I went Saturday night at 11pm. They had some glitch that forced us to watch the first 4 trailers again. Then they forgot to turn the 3D on, so we had to watch the first 5 minutes again. They announced we would all get free passes. Then, about an hour into it, right when they had Vision down and were trying to get his stone (just as in the trailer, no spoiler), the screen went black. Turns out they had some power outage and ALL the screens had quit and they could not restart. Everyone on the whole cinema got free tickets. Since we already had free tickets coming to us, I got 2 free tickets. Had to re-buy tickets for the 11am showing at a different theater (only 2 showings in 3D IMAX and I didn't want to risk the same theater) to finally see it. The online ordering would not let me use the free passes and it was reserved seating, so I wanted to buy in advance. I'll use the free tickets later.

Ending up with the challenge this morning. It's already May 1st here in China. Have most of the day off, so going to squeeze in a few. Hard a blast as always. Also have to clear up my checklist etc. and see how well I did there.

Thanks to all for another fun May B-Movie Challenge. I started a few days late, but still managed 75 viewings.
