01. The Librarians: 1.4, "And Santa's Midnight Run" (2014 / United States / Hulu)*
--- The Librarians must rescue Santa (Bruce Campbell) when he is kidnapped by Max Headroom. Santa has to bestow a gift of goodwill on the world at a specific time, creating a ticking clock. Rebecca Romijn and John Larroquette are definitely better than the silly material. John Harlan Kim is cute enough to keep me watching.
02. Adventures of Superman: 4.4, "Peril by Sea" (1956 / United States)*
03. Adventures of Superman: 4.5, "Topsy Turvy" (1956 / United States)*
--- These episodes delve into the sci-fi plots of early Superman comics. First, Perry White becomes an amateur scientist and is menaced by smugglers with an operational submarine. Then, a wacky scientist creates a machine that tricks people into thinking they're upside-down. It's all pretty silly.
04. Company Business (Nicholas Meyer, 1991 / United States)*
--- Gene Hackman plays a curmudgeonly retired CIA agent that is tasked with overseeing a prisoner exchange with the Soviets. When the deal goes south, Hackman and the Soviet spy are trapped in Berlin with both the CIA and KGB gunning for them. It's a standard, uninspired spy flick, buoyed by the charismatic cast.

--- Josh Brolin introduces short segments that are either fabricated or based on fact. I watched it when I was in high school so I'm a bit nostalgic for this piece of junk programming. Usually, the most outlandish tale in each group is based on "fact" with no explanation. I remember this being annoying in the pre-Google world.
08. Your Worst Nightmare: 2.4, "While She Was Sleeping" (2015 / United States / Hulu)*
09. Your Worst Nightmare: 2.5, "There's No Place Like Home" (2015 / United States / Hulu)*
10. Your Worst Nightmare: 2.6, "Psycho for Love" (2015 / United States / Hulu)*
--- A bevy of reporters and law enforcement take use through some particularly gruesome crime - usually a murder. The reenactments are garish and overblown. The whole thing feels so exploitative, and I love it.

March 8th
11. Good Girls: "Mo Money, Mo Problems" (2018 / United States / Hulu)*
--- Three women rob a grocery store and get in over their heads with a lecherous manager and a gang laundering money. The show is still trying to find it's footing, but the second episode was better than then the first. The three leads have good chemistry.
12. He Ran All the Way (John Berry, 1951 / United States)*
--- Two men bungle a robbery, and one of them holes up with a family after wooing the daughter. It's a terse drama that explores family ties, gender roles, and the cracks in the facade of civil institutions. Each member of the family approaches the interloper and the danger he poses in a very different way. Shelley Winters is wonderful as the wallflower who has to step up to save the day.
