You ever just NEED to watch Planes, Trains And Automobiles? That was me last night and let me tell ya, it did it's job well.

Re: It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like The 13th Annual Holiday Challenge (11/18-1/1)

A slow start for me, with only the Danny Glover film Almost Christmas on my list so far. It was decent, not sure why I randomly picked it the other day, as I usually stick to Thanksgiving fare until after the holiday.

Off topic, and maybe continue in a streaming thread for more info, but I again heartily recommend everyone starting a UV group before it's too late. Imagine six of you, with dozens or hundreds of films in your individual Vudu/UV account, being able to watch each other's films. Story, Gobear; PM each other and connect. It's free!

While browsing iTunes, I found Grumpy Cat's Worst Christmas Ever, for $4.99.

Yeah I’m startIng off pretty slow as well.

I have absolutely no desire to watch anything Holiday related right now. It’s so odd.

Hopefully Thursday will kickstart my holiday mood.

If you've not yet set up/joined a group it's too late. Vudu discontinued that option on the 13 (I believe) of this month. I drug my feet too long and didn't get my son and I connected before they removed the option.

Watched For Your Consideration yesterday and I honestly don't know if I should count it straight up or need a wildcard.

Happy Thanksgiving fellow challenge participants. I've got Planes, Trains, and Automobiles playing right now, and I'll watch a few How I Met Your Mother Thanksgiving Episodes before I move on to all things Christmas. I never knew there was a Thanksgiving horror movie out there, but found VUDU has "Thankskilling" available for free viewing. I'll try and watch it later today as well.

Wow, I never knew there was a post credit scene in Planes, Trains, and Automobiles.
Spoiler:
The Guy at the ad agency is still in the office staring at the pictures from the opening scene.

Thankskilling may end up being the worst thing you could ever see. Congrats!

MST3K Turkey Day marathon here, and may end I'll peak in on the Vikings game a bit. One meal down, another pending after work.

I woke up to terrible news this morning. A friend of mine was killed by a hunter last night.

This is unreal, one of the girls in Thankskilling thinks she is talking to her dad with the dad’s skinned off face on the Turkey. Also the sequel Thankskilling 3 is available to watch for free on VUDU.

Re: It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like The 13th Annual Holiday Challenge (11/18-1/1)

Watched Planes, Trains and Automobiles and I have to admit that I liked it about as much as I thought I would, very little. I'm just not a Steven Martin fan and John Candy was just too irritating for me in this one. Oh well!

I started watching another Hallmark movie afterward, Merry Matrimony and it's not too bad. Everyone looks a little too Botoxed, but it's a simple Christmas romance that ends well, of course.

Thoughts from the last few days of viewing. I did my annual viewing of How I met Your mother Thanksgiving Episodes, along with watching the Boy Meets World Christmas episodes. Thankskilling was amazing, I feel like I'm going to quote it now all year long. Its sequel, I had no idea what was going on. I'll be watching both again very soon, when I buy the dvds.

As a matter of fact it is. Did it make the National news?

Yeah, I saw a headline earlier today and thought it sounded like what you said. Just tragic. But sounds like the guy was hunting after dark illegally.

Very tragic. In a small town like mine, every one is like family. Plus I’d known her since I was a kid. We went to school together.

That's terrible, shadokitty, really sorry to hear about that. I pray for strength and comfort in a time of grief and shock.
