Bad copy of Star Wars BD?
My SW A New Hope blu-ray has a digital glitch when they enter Mos Eisley, s little after the 47 min mark.
Checked out a library copy, same EXACT thing, what's up. It's like a quick 1 second scramble on the screen |
Re: Bad copy of Star Wars BD?
Have you tried it in other players? Could be getting hung up on the layer change.

Re: Bad copy of Star Wars BD?
Sounds like a player thing. Certain FOX discs are notorious for causing problems on certain players, due to their 'security' authoring. A firmware update would likely resolve this, but Star Wars is a known title to have been problematic. You'd have to rely on your hardware manufacturer to get with the program, though, and it's too late for that. You may want a new player.

There's a glitch on mine in the Cantina scene, too.
Right before Han shoots Greedo he does this weird jerky motion, and it almost looks like Greedo takes a shot at him. |

Re: Bad copy of Star Wars BD?
That's not a glitch, it's a patch from 1997 on a 20-year-old glitch.
