Assume that all of these are available to all customers unless specifically listed as member only like the Welcome Package. Also remember that any preliminary codes are just that and BN could pull it, change the details or exclusions anything prior to release so always a bit of YMMV until the final release date

Mini FAQ
Coupons should not work for PREORDERS , Nook, Legos, Rosetta Stone, Digital, Gift Cards, Memberships, etc. There are glitches where sometimes an excluded item will be allowed but assume that is the exception to the rule
Free Shipping is $25 (before tax/shipping) or with membership.
Max 3 GC on a single online order.
Online only a single code can be applied to an order
Return period is 14 days after delivery (possibly 30 days for members though I've never tried)
Online ordered items can returned to a local store unless it's classified as a web-only item then it's at the store's discretion to accept
The long standing Free 60 day Trial Offer was discontinued in late May 2016

STORE ONLY 15% OFF Coupons -- Unknown if multi-use or if will work on 40% Off Items
15% OFF Single Item Exp 12/31/2017 (I)
15% OFF Single Item Exp 12/31/2017 (II)
15% OFF Single Item Exp ?? (III)

15% Single Item exp 11/6 2:59am ET -- if these are all used I can post some more.
New codes added below at least to make the bots and lurkers work a little harder. Used codes removed 3:30pm. New Codes added

I just finished Get Out and was pleasantly impressed I think a lot of the hype is deserved for socially conscious race relations commentary more so than on the basis of a horror movie. It was certainly original and intense, I enjoyed it but some of the humor seemed odd (I hated the TSA character) - despite inconsistent humor Get Out was an especially witty film

Regarding the film, I really enjoyed It. A bunch of fine performances by the youngsters in the movie.

And about the moms/kids sitting nearby, I'll adjust my estimate. I think the youngest girl was closer to 5. Yes, I'm sure she'll sleep well tonight. Maybe I'm being too hard. Perhaps this will be the beginning of her love for horror films.

What are some good G and PG rated family movie suggestions that are acceptable criteria for the challenge?

Hocus Pocus?
Monster House?
Spaced Invaders?

Those are good choices. Personally I think Scooby Doo films work well too.
Some kid pleasing film recommendations are Paranormal, Hotel Transylvania, Goosebumps, Nightmare Before Christmas, etc
Other 'family friendly' PG rated movie suggestions more geared towards adults include Phantom of Paradise, Invasion of the Body Snatchers, Poltergeist, Duel, Jaws, Invaders from Mars, and It's Alive. Not to mention many Universal Monster Classics and many pre-1960 films.

I'm finished for the night. Watched one short Shed 17 (2015) and two movies, The Crimson Cult (1968) and The 7th Victim (1943). Forgot to watch Ward 13 (2003); I'll squeeze it in sometime later today with whatever else I watch.

I seriously don't want to go to sleep. Ringing in the early morning Tobe Hopper day with Poltergeist. I'll never understand the need to remake such a great movie.

I spent most of the day at Monster Mania and while we had some time to kill this afternoon my buddy and I went across the street to see a movie (thanks Moviepass) and we decided to see how bad Friend Request could be... Don't ever watch that movie. Not for this challenge. Not for any reason. Never. I'm upset I can't even count it for the challenge. At least it was free and provided some laughs that were definitely not intended.

Too late. I saw it during a binge day at the theater. One of the worst-written movies I've seen. The whole entire scene that led to the death in the elevator had me rolling my eyes the entire time.

Shudder has a 30 day free trial with new accounts using coupon code GROUPON30 at checkout (versus 7 days standard trial). You might have to keep an eye on cancelling before auto billing.

I really liked it as well and agree on the timeliness being a big factor. The TSA guy was a little too over the top, though I guess there's a history of that in horror movies, that one guy. The why of it all certainly felt like a big McGuffin to me. Once it's revealed, I sort of shrugged, but it got the movie where it needed to go.

ParaNorman
Wallace and Gromit: Curse of the Were-Rabbit
Frankenweenie
Monsters, Inc./University (though not technically a horror movie, I think films about characters who scare people is at least good for a wildcard. I wouldn't mind if someone used it; it seems in the spirit)
Mad Monster Party (a subset pick)
Ghostbusters
Coraline
Godzilla, 50s monster movies
Cannibal Holocaust (hey, how did that get here?)

It was even used as a subset film one year. I think at times it comes down to the spirit of the film. This one also has a heavy focus on Halloween, which would make it more challenge acceptable as well.

But there are other notable exceptions to the genre tag rule that are widely acceptable, Silence of the Lambs being one of them.

For today's theme movie, I did a search on Roku, and discovered that The Texas Chain Saw Massacre was available on Amazon Prime. I thought about watching it last night after midnight, but I wasn't feeling well, so I went to bed after my third movie.

Started off today with a Tobe Hooper double feature. Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 and Lifeforce. I might watch Salem’s Lot later.

Appropriately, had a horror movie dream this morning.

Ending had a son shooting his father in a dark basement. Mother enters, saying that she'll keep the body there as a trophy. Son complains that the smell will be bad. Mother yells, "Alexa, lower temperature". Credits roll.

Even better, a 30 day free trial of a bundle of ten channels, including Shudder.

It was a trip. Surreal, yet with plot one could follow from start to finish, but don't ask me what the plot was exactly. Think I loved it. Or maybe not. But it has me jonesing for the TV Challenge and a Twin Peaks marathon.

Hope you decided to keep the Lime Green set, per my input at least.

Ha, I had a dream after my Elm Street Marathon but it was much more pleasant. That Lisa Wilcox had a nude scene.

Phantom Carriage is a complex ghost story. Very surprising for a 1921 movie. I can see why Ingmar Bergman thought highly of it.

Poltergeist II, in hindsight, was bordering on being a pretty good sequel until that awful ending with terrible special effects. Poltergeist III, however, was still pretty terrible. On to Texas Chain Saw Massacre now...

Best Buy has apparently joined in the spirit of the challenge with a horror movie sale starting today. Worth mentioning because there are a number of Scream Factory titles priced from $12.99 to $14.99. Also a few Olive titles.

So far I'm starting with all seven of the Home Improvement Halloween episodes, and I watched Sharknado last night. I never watched it or the sequels.
