Okay, Informal poll here - I'll be sponsoring the challenge through my blog/site Celluloid Terror once again. Unfortunately I don't have the ability to offer up the INCREDIBLE prize packs that Goldenwheels/Hamilton Books and Diabolik can. So here's the question - Would you guys rather I compile one prize pack or break it up into individual prizes so that more people have a chance at a prize? I'm not exactly sure how big the prize pack would be at this point.

I vote individual. The more prizes for everybody! (and I would vote to do that as well with any prize pack...even the ones above.) More the merrier I say.

That is an incredible set of Prize Packs Goldenwheels (Hamilton Books)! It is absolutely shocking. With those prize packs, Diabolik's prizes and SethDLH (Celluloid Terror's) prizes I am completely blown away. Let's cut off the number of people that can do the challenge right now! Nobody new can join...

Is there a reason we don't break down the big prize packs and also how does one win the big prize packages (is it most watched, best list, questions)?

I think it's because it's up to each sponsor on how they want to ship their prizes or if they're sent to Internet Brands for shipping. I may be wrong but I know if Hamilton Book had to send out each one of those prizes individually they'd be looking at several hundred dollars expense in shipping as opposed to being able to send out 4 big packs at media mail rates (This is just an idea - I have no idea how GoldenWheels plans on sending out their prize packs). I know for me, If I have 5 items it could end up being $80 in shipping if they were to all go to international winners. It's just a realistic thing to look at.

Awesome prize packs from Hamilton again as always.

1) I honestly wouldn't expect anybody to match what Hamilton is offering. The fact that you or anyone offers anything is awesome. Thank you for your generosity.
2) I would probably go to individual prizes so more can win unless that becomes cost prohibitive.

To all sponsors, thank you for the generous donations. It isn't the reason I do the challenge, but it sure is a nice addition and something to work towards.

Individual would be nice, but we can't expect that from the prize providers, the shipping costs could get horrendous. Let the gifters decide.

Shipping costs. Most watched is never rewarded. We don't want to encourage cheating. Best list gets a prize, gets their choice of the remaining prizes iirc. All other prizes are either contest winners or random selection.

This is pretty much it--I ship, Chad gets me addresses. I considered doing 40 prizes of like 3 blu each etc....but Chad would have to GET the 40 addresses (and he already does a TON of work) and then I'd need to mail them. And I print labels/pack all by myself for this, this is a labor of love. Sadly it's not even the money that is the issue, it is the TIME, which I have far less of than I need lately.

I'll also point out, just to remind Chad and others...I do U.S. shipping on these prizes only!!!

You guys, and DVDTalk.com, have been great to Hamiltons throughout the years and the prize packs are the least I can do--but keep in mind I get some of this material as vendor samples etc. We don't deserve too much credit as Santa Claus, and much of it will have remainder marks on the UPCs. (though to be honest, a lot of stuff like the Vincent Price set, etc would have gone home with me if NOT for the challenge! )

A few notes perhaps of interest:

The MST3k Gamera set is OOP and goes for a pretty penny. We found a case that had been lost on the selves. Like fine wine, some DVDs age well and accrue value!

That Elvira Double Feature is in there because it has Devil's Wedding Night, which has Rosalba Neri in it. It's not the best print, but I LOVE this movie.

That version of "Wicked, Wicked" in there was recalled as Cheezy did not have the rights. They were destroyed. We never returned our copies for some reason, but also cannot legally sell them. So it's kind of an OOP/never supposed to exist oddity.

Frankenhooker is in there because....I still have enough copies to make an igloo out of. I will probably be buried with this title. And you be quiet Trevor!!!!

Not sure how we could help you there Rich, although you deserve it, but coordinating the prizes/addresses and running the randomizer is another fairly easy task that one of us could volunteer to do for Chad. This would also free up Chad to potentially earn a well-deserved prize. I'll gladly remove myself from the prize pool and volumteer.

Again, this isn't that Chad can't do everything, he's proven he can for 12 years now. But if we can help, we should.

Maybe it'll grow on me. But there is this: I'm generally very forgiving of films and I can only think of two that I'd sort of say I hate, Avatar and Frankenhooker. So averaging those two revenues, you're sitting on a potential gold mine!

Something to note. Zom-Bee should be taken off of the Roku channels. It is defunct. I tried to watch it just the other day, and got a message that it was no longer available.

I probably framed this poorly, so I apologize for that. Most important point is this is a friend who I love, hell I have helped him move... in the rain. I shouldn't have said "offended', it's more "defensive". And I don't want to change his belief, there's a group of us that love horror, ghosts and most of the supernatural and a lot of the time he drives our group (figuratively and literally) to do amateur ghost hunting (he's the only believer, a couple are 'I dunno' and the rest of us can't believe until we have proof).

We have spirited debates that more often than not he initiates and there is never anger or animosity. The last one was while enjoying spirits watching the Conjuring 2. It's a fun debate... there's a latitude among friends to say 'you are crazy man' that you don't have with strangers. We are not challenging any fundamental beliefs that shape who he is or how he lives his life. We grant him the possibility ghosts exist, but when you go from 'it's possible' to 'it's true', you are gonna need to back that up with proof (hello Higgs boson).

The only time belief in ghosts presents a problem is when it's derives from grief. We always bring up, if ghosts are real, then when a loved one passes it should mean they can still be apart of your life. He states, "that's not how it works" without any explanation of why. This belief could keep you from the final stage of grief for an unhealthy period of time.

Ah, one of those deals.

Those are some great prize packs but I noticed those non-horrors slipped into #4. I'm still working on the books I got a couple years ago from one of these big packs.

And they are awesome. That's quite a generous donation, Golden Wheels!

I'm not sure, but I think Svengoolie tonight may be a Hammer film. It's Island Of Terror, starring Peter Cushing. If anyone wants to record it.

It's a "Planet Film Productions" film but *was* directed by Hammer regular Terence Fisher.
