Assume that all of these are available to all customers unless specifically listed as member only like the Welcome Package. Also remember that any preliminary codes are just that and BN could pull it, change the details or exclusions anything prior to release so always a bit of YMMV until the final release date

Mini FAQ
Coupons should not work for PREORDERS , Nook, Legos, Rosetta Stone, Digital, Gift Cards, Memberships, etc. There are glitches where sometimes an excluded item will be allowed but assume that is the exception to the rule
Free Shipping is $25 (before tax/shipping) or with membership.
Max 3 GC on a single online order.
Online only a single code can be applied to an order
Return period is 14 days after delivery (possibly 30 days for members though I've never tried)
Online ordered items can returned to a local store unless it's classified as a web-only item then it's at the store's discretion to accept
The long standing Free 60 day Trial Offer was discontinued in late May 2016

Re: Seventh Annual Drive-In/Exploitation Challenge April 1-30, 2016

TCM had the first two episodes of the two Superman serials and Batman serials the other day. I liked the Superman ones. I'll have to search them on Roku.

Can't wait. I've been compiling movies and have some new ones coming in. Hateful Eight, Gong Show Movie and (Bride of Re-Animator comes later in April) arrive Tuesday and I've been sitting on new Blu-rays of Faster Pussycat Kill Kill, Beyond the Valley of the Dolls, Bobby Jo and the Outlaw, Sonny Boy, and Xanadu. Hopefully I can find my downloads of a nearly complete collection of Laura Gemser films and Shaw Brothers Wuxia and Bruce Lee clones.

The Superman serial is on a channel called either aliens and cowboys or cowboys and aliens, along with old Westerns and other sci fi serials.

I hope I won't have to re purchase my copy of Ninja III: The Domination. I have the entire trilogy, but can't for the life of me remember where I put my copy of the third movie.

I'm gonna have to skip the checklist this year since I won't be able to watch as many genres as I usually do (In the first few weeks of the month at least)

I really hope ElRey finally airs the R-cut of An Eye For an Eye this monday night for the DVR. That's the last of the early 80's Chuck Norris-movies that I haven't seen yet, but they always play the edited version in previous airings...Even at night.

Wow! Roku in Canada has really made a step up since I last plugged mine in! There are actually B/SciFi/Horror channels available now, some free, some live streaming! It's going to be a fun month!

nice! my xbox live account is ending this month and i think i'm moving over to buying a roku 4 this week, perfect timing for the challenge.

anybody know what movie they are starting with? i'm thinking Electric Boogaloo: The Wild, Untold Story of Cannon Films to get things warmed up.

I didn't want to wait till the 31st, so I broke out my 20 movie Martial Arts Mill Creek set and just watched a good old, bad kung fu movie, Kung Fu: The Invisible Fist. It has spies, undercover cops, criminal rings, and to top it off an over 10 minute kung fu fight at the end, one on one yet. Wish the print wasn't cropped on the sides though.

I haven't decided what I'm starting with yet, as I have so much to choose from.

I think I'm kicking things off with Alley Cat, a movie I've wanted to see for a while and have been holding off watching since buying it a few months back

Re: Seventh Annual Drive-In/Exploitation Challenge April 1-30, 2016

On the first day of the challenge, I'm going in the opposite direction. A friend and I have plans to go see the populous flick Deadpool, a creation of a corporate-media behemoth. Knowing this friend, it'll be drinks afterward so I may not get any challenge watching done.

Over the weekend, I'm planning to watch a couple of old sci-fi films. I really want to revisit The 27th Day.

Looks like I can give this a shot. I have the time and I have Netflix and Crackle. I have tons of movies I own but I don't want to repeat what I watched when I did this challenge once before. I should hunt up my list.

I was wondering. I don't know how much he was involved in it, but would George Romero make Creepshow a safe movie?

He directed it and is on the director/producer safe list, so that would be a yes.

Well they're going out of town this friday, so at least I have this weekend to myself (Yay!)
As for what I'm watching first, I always start emptying my DVR whenever certain challenges start. There was a biker(?) movie starring Paul LeMat called Easy Wheels that I recorded off MGM a week ago. That'll be among the first.

I'm happy. When I wasn't even looking for it, I found my copy of Ninja III. It had fallen between a box of DVDs, and my DVD cabinet. It probably fell out of the box.

My first two Netflix DVD's of the Challenge came in the mail today. Jaws 3, and a 2 movie DVD of ninja movies.

i think i'll be keeping a list of films watched for this challenge over at Letterbxd if anyone is on there. its an easy way to see the list with the film poster, i'm not talented enough to post photos here.

Re: Seventh Annual Drive-In/Exploitation Challenge April 1-30, 2016

I'm also on Letterboxd (Sofa Sinema) but I'm way behind on updates there, because I track films two other sites this month, but I'd like to add you all for the future.

Anyway, I'm digging the hell out of Exploitation.tv. I still buy Vinegar Syndrome stuff on BD pretty regularly, but this site has all the content that I didn't necessarily want to fork over big bucks for and it's a total blessing for this challenge. I mean, the content is exactly what this challenge calls for and it's probably the most authentic in terms of B movies that readily played in drive-ins and B-movie palaces. High recommend on this site and I'm glad to see others are joining too. It's a steal and updates every Friday. I think I've watched six features already leading up to this challenge and I've added a good variety to my list for watching during April.

Let's get ready to rumble!

Re: Seventh Annual Drive-In/Exploitation Challenge April 1-30, 2016

ConTV has a lot of stuff made for this challenge too. But I'll have to look into Exploitation.TV. Playstation Vue on their Elite Slim plan has a channel dedicated to martial arts too, called Hi-Yah. While browsing YouTube earlier today, I also found If the Footmen Tire You..., Ilsa, She-Wolf of the SS, and other public domain B movies.
