Veterans Day Watching

Starting tonight, and going through the 12th at dawn, I'm doing a self challenge. I plan to watch war movies and military documentaries in honor of Veterans Day, and list them under my What Are You Watching list.

I started my mini challenge by watching a marathon of Air Aces on AHC.

Perhaps next year you can do a two day challenge starting at 00:01 AM Nov 10th thru 11:59PM Nov 11th (or dawn of the 12th). On the 10th, concentrate on war movies related to the Marine Corp and on the 11th, war movies in general.

That sounds like a good idea.

The two movies that are the most like my time in service (1987-1993) were Sgt Bilko and Renaissance Man. Most people think they're pretty bad but to me they're so spot-on they transcend.
