A well-earned break, good sir.

I'm yet to surprised anymore by films on these lists. There are so many outlets that I use now (podcasts, YouTube, Letterboxd, countless horror forums and movie sites). By the time the challenge rolls around, I've either seen them or held them for the month.

I like to look at lists during the month, but I've very seasonal and once it's over I don't look back. Bring on the Christmas challenge.

I'm not interested in any of the prizes, so to avoid an incomplete stats list, I deleted my list.

Yes, to Ana de Armas. Very hot babe!

So Werewolf Rising was cool. I should have watched that, but I was wary of another recent vampire flick.

Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 11th Annual October Horror Movie Challenge (Oct 1-31) Pt

Finally finished my list on the thread. Can't say it wasn't my very best showing but it beat last year results (22 in '14). My goal was to have a better year. I felt I did by doubling it up (46 total). Though I was thinking of hitting 50 or more but sometimes life, work and other distractions can throw you of course.

Ok, so this year I wanted to do a first. The plan was to stay away from the classics and other horror goodies I seen before, going with a first time viewing this whole month. I did it with the exception of Christine. I had alot fun. Of course some were awful like Wake Wood &The Wicker Tree and just to name a few. How do we get thru them? What makes you guys not wanting to shut it off? I did about 3 times. 45 mins into Dude Bro Party Massacre III & 1 hour into The Vatican Tapes and I just couldn't. Upset cause you can't count them and wasted time instead of watching something else.

Though I did found a few gems this month thanks to the thread Circles & Cooties.
I also made a poll on my list thread. Aside from my top movies and worst I also did most viewed actress and actor this month. I like that idea and may do it again next year.

I did fail in not going this month to watch a horror movie in the theaters. Which I like to do yearly as part of the challenge. However, I did get to meet a horror persona this October in Bruce Campbell (pic in list thread). That also is my yearly tradition.

Another thing, I must stop going to Halloween parties on Halloween. It stops me from seeing anything that night. BTW I was dressed as The Babadook and the people loved it.

Well folks, that sums it up. I did have fun viewing new entries this month, posted a little bit more here and had a blast. Till next time, Halloween & Horror forever.

I can't believe I watched 62! My previous high was 50, so that was my goal again. Pretty happy with what I watched this month too. Some classics and favorites, but a lot of new things. I was really dialed in on the 1980's, that's for sure. Great fun!

I thought if you didn't include a sum of stats or prize-eligible info you were automatically left out of stats/prizes? I don't think the intention is to make people include additional info if they don't want to. I'll miss seeing your list in my scrolling.

That's pretty sweat.

I didn't realize that. My mistake. Chalk it up to my depression hitting hard today. The Comedy Challenge isn't even cheering me up. And I -love- comedy.

Sorry about that, hope it stops hitting.

My philosophy is that if you're ever thinking about deleting a post, you're doing it wrong.

Teen Wolf was this year's Amazing Spider-Man.

Ha! I must have missed that discussion.

At least Teen Wolf has leg to stand on, IMO.

Seemingly it's possible to declined prizes while still maintaining a list... the point of the lists is not prizes, I don't think...

Thanks for the vote; I like to take notes/reviews because sometimes it's fun for me to compare with later viewings plus I really enjoy skimming the lists for hidden gems so discussion within the lists helps highlight stuff.

Right there with you regarding the depression. November 1st hit, and my mood immediately shifted. I picked back up with season 3 of Scrubs last night...I find that to be a good show for me when I am feeling this way. It really makes me run the gamut of emotions.

Scratch what I said before. I'm crazy.
