I think Bruiser should count as horror; it is revenge based but there are some surreal/supernatural aspects and certainly if rape revenge movies count Bruiser should plus some.

Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 11th Annual "October Horror Movie Challenge" (10/1 - 10/
I'm going to be out of town at the end of October visiting relatives. I thought it would be fun to watch some horror movies with them over the visit, especially Halloween night, and to keep up with the Challenge, so I set up a plex server and I've already got 28 movies set up to go, but I want a few more. I don't expect us to watch 30 movies over the visit since we'll be doing a fair amount of touristy stuff; I just want a decent amount of choice for them. I am veering away from the hard core horror titles. This is the list so far:
Brides of Dracula (1960)
Eight Legged Freaks (2002)
El Ataud Del Vampiro (1958)
El Vampiro (1957)
Fiend Without a Face (1958)
Haunted Cop Shop (1987)
Horror Express (1972)
Island of Terror (1966)
Kill Baby Kill (1966)
Killer Klowns from Outespace (1988)
Kung Fu Zombie (1981)
Monsters vs Aliens (2009)
Mr. Vampire (1985)
Mr. Vampie III (1987)
Mr. Vampire Saga (1988)
MST3K - Night of the Bloodbeast (1996)
MST3K - The Beginning of the End (1993)
Operation Pink Squad 2: Thundercops (1989)
Quatermass and the Pit (1968)
Scooby Doo and the Goblin King (2008)
Spooky Encounters (1980)
The 'Burbs (1989)
The Call of Cthulhu (2005)
The Curse of the Were-Rabbit (2005)
The Devil Rides Out (1968)
The Legend of Hell House (1973)
The Monolith Monsters (1957)
The Trail (1984)
Nothing from Universal Monsters of the 40's, I think they're too likely to seen them, but now that I think about it, I could go with the Bob Hope version of The Cat and the Canary (1939). Beyond that, I dunno, Ghostwatch (1992), The Stuff (1985) or maybe Evil Dead 2 (1982) or Ghost Breakers (1940) and/or Scared Stiff (1953). Maybe A&B Meet Frankenstein (1948), even if they have seen it, it bears repeating. Must. Not. Over. Do. It.
I saw The Cooties (2014) this weekend. If you can arrange to catch it in October (vod maybe?), it's worthwhile.

Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 11th Annual "October Horror Movie Challenge" (10/1 - 10/
Is anyone going to do a video montage this year? I enjoyed doing it last year, so I'm going to do it again.

It's still gonna be tricky to try to find music that youtube doesn't freak out about. And I'm still a little skeptical about throwing nudity in...Speaking of which, I feel like re-watching Sparks' last vid...

i have my annual philly trip in october but also have 2 weeks off
dont want to get too comfortable in binging watching movies and read comics so im making it a point to walk one mile for every movie I watch. I need to get in better shape and started recently but a 100 movie marathon wont help. so im slowly working on being able to walk on a treadmill without holding on for dear life and luckily ill be able to walk while i watch!

One thing I've noticed in the past few years is that I always have to play catch-up on a few "Hot topic" movies that the discussion threads seem to have. The year before last, it was Detention. Last year, it was The Battery (Which I'll watch this year) and in 2015, it looks like it might already be The Editor....Which I probably won't be able to get a hold of in time So yeah, some things will never change
Not just a countdown for the movie-watching, but for all the indoor/outdoor deco that I gotta get ready to bring down from the attic. Bought (And made) a BUNCH of stuff last year and can't wait to put it all back up. Anybody else going all out this year?

Make it so that the only way to watch is by clicking the link. You should be fine if you do that.
