Witness To Murder (Stanwyck) Question

I also asked this in the bargains thread, but as there were no answers......

I recently bought the Kino blu-ray.

It is in standard letterbox widescreen format. (NOT Pillarbox/Windowbox).

I also have a TCM SD digital cap that is full screen.

Does anyone know what format it was originally shot in? Usually TCM shows wide screen movies in widescreen format.

imdb lists widescreen as the aspect ratio. DVD Savant says in his review that the correct aspect ratio is 1.75:1. So, I think it's widescreen.

Thank you! Good to know; I would have been irritated if Kino had cropped it.
