Sale of Twilight Time
I am being told that Twilight Time has been sold and that this is delaying delivery of some titles to the retailers. Specifically screenarchives.com. Anyone know that this is a problem or is it a line of bull. Thanks.

Re: Sale of Twilight Time
Screen Archives is a separate company from Twilight Time. They are simply a retail distribution company that mostly dealt with selling soundtrack CDs before Twilight Time used them as their Blu-ray retailer.

No source,no link, just lies. Twilight Time sells movies through SAE mostly, and some on the TCMshop site. |

Re: Sale of Twilight Time
I suppose that might explain why it took well over a week for two Twilight Time titles to go from being ordered to being shipped. It took almost 3 weeks to get my order. Most online places ship within 24 hours. Hell, I ordered the Pinchcliffe Grand Prix from Caprino Studios in Norway and got it within a week... without special shipping.
Of course, those TT titles also happened to be ordered during that sale SAE just ran, so…. |

But I now believe something is definitely going on. Either they are not happy with SAE.I have not ordered from them in awhile. But have read about lots of slow deliveries from SAE. And now Amazon,Barnes and Noble,Best Buy,FYE,Deep discount and importcds All started selling some Twilight Time tittles in the last few days. Some for less and some for more. Importcds has some of the best prices. From Facebook Twilight Time DVD Label We have said repeatedly that any retailer or dealer can buy from SAE or TCM directly if they wish, but they must buy at the full retail price - this is why you see items marked up on Amazon and elsewhere. There will be an announcement at the end of next month that will alleviate the situation... |
