Thanks to Chad & all involved in running this challenge. It's something I look forward too, as it always makes my October more spooktacular. This challenge is always fun & never a pain in the arse which is a testament to those who run it & those involved.

I am super excited about being a winner & getting Prom Night. Off to take that off my wishlist right now

Thanks! I was basically working on it all month throughout the challenge. I would watch two movies a night, then put my favorite scenes in the video, and tweak it is as the challenge progressed. The music is by Akira Yamaoka, who is most well known for making the music for the Silent Hill video games. His stuff is very atmospheric and really captures the emotion that should be at the core of a good spooky story. The tracks were:

Letters
Rain of Brass Petals
Theme of Laura (Reprise)
Your Rain featuring Mary Elizabeth McGlynn

Anyone else having browser issues with this page? Every other webpage loads fine, but iOS Safari just won't load this one. I have managed to get this far only twice, but it is constantly loading and resetting. I doubt this message will go thru.
Guess I'll have to fire up the old PC to actually enjoy Chads annual fantastic work.

The bolded part says it all. Worst browser ever on one of the worst OSes. Everytime I try to use my work iPad for "serious" stuff I get a half dozen tabs open and it starts crashing. I finally decided it's due to graphics overload as 99.9% of the crashes occur when I'm loading a graphics heavy page - like this one.

Re: October Horror Movie Challenge Number 10: The Results Thread

Thank you for another great challenge. As i've said before, sorry that I couldn't of done more. I'd love to sit and watch horror all the month of October. But just didn't have the time to do it. But I enjoyed what I was able to do. Most of my viewing are from my own DVD/Blu collection that i'm proud to have. So I should be enjoying this challenge for as long as it is available. Plus, just to add, i'm always looking for more titles to add to my collection for the challenge and so on.

Yep. Having the same issues. Been trying to get to this page all weekend to read the comments. Finally on a laptop now and no problems at all.

Definitely the graphics. People would probably have better luck using the newb settings that have fewer posts per page.

Re: October Horror Movie Challenge Number 10: The Results Thread

My prize arrived yesterday. I'd actually forgotten about it, saw the return address of "Internet Brands" thinking "I don't recall ordering anything from them.." only to open the package and go "Oh! DVDTalk!"

Thanks, again, Chad for putting up with all this!

No worries, man. I appreciate this prize pack and I love Synapse releases and didn't own any of these. They were all in perfect condition and I'm quite a distance from you, so the postal service came through. Keep up with the great videos. I followed along throughout the entire challenge with your updates and it was a lot of fun..
