Oh yeah, I forgot they finally got a channel for that site. I haven't used mine for ages.

I used to watch The Monster Channel a lot until they got the idea people would pay for a subscription.

What are some good accounts on Livestream to look up? I looked up horror and didn't find much of anything.

I honestly don't see myself doing very much watching this year. I'm still going to participate, but I think that even 100 will be a big stretch this time around.

I'll see what I can find.

BTW, the movie that started about 30 minutes ago is pretty good, if anyone is looking for something to watch. I don't remember the name at all but I saw a few seconds and remembered it was good.

Edit.. The film is Embryo.

I'm not good at coming up with unique themes that haven't been used in all the past horror challenges on here but possibly a theme night for quiet/soft horror (mentioned here: http://www.cuebon.com/ewriters/Hsubgenres.html) It would go well with any of these subset suggestions that haven't been used before on here (I've heard these are subtle haven't seen them yet but curious to for the challenge so thought I'd throw them out here): Oculus, Haunter, Open Grave (2013), or The Quiet Ones.

Themes I think would be cool to see return: pick your favorite director, pick your favorite horror icon, and/or another chronological horror years face off with whichever years aside from the ones that are always included.

Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 10th Annual "October Horror Movie Challenge" (10/1 - 10/

Is there a list of everything (actors, directors, themes, etc.) that have already been used? I was going to make one up, but I vaguely recall someone using an ultimate checklist like that last year. Or I imagined it.

I've got a few suggestions, but I don't want to just repeat ideas already used in the early years.

For anyone who might be interested; I've been working on making a 'definitive' top 1000 horror movies list by collecting various 'best of' lists from around the interwebz and although the list is far from done it might give people some ideas: https://www.icheckmovies.com/lists/t.../mightysparks/.

For anyone feeling a little ambitious, here's a list of Hong Kong horror movies circa 1970-2010's.

Hong Kong (HK) 70's/80's /90's/00's/10's Horror Movies

A fair number can be found on youtube and others on dvd, etc...

Thanks for that link. I really enjoy youtube now, since I can get it on Roku, allowing me to watch youtube on tv rather than my computer.

No Corman, Castle or Fulci yet? That's unacceptable and must be remedied.

Yes! Been grabbing new titles for this years challenge. Of course the new Vincent Price Collection II doesn't come out until the END of October. Would love to have it for the beginning of October so I wouldn't have to cram them all in a row. Just heard The Long Hair of Death ( Barbara Steele ) is being released to blu. But not until December...

10 years for this..Amazing that it's been that long.

I just googled horror subgenres and tried to spot what we hadn't used before and came across this subgenre & broad enough for movies under it. I tried googling further but had a hard time finding specific links with a list of movies so thanks for seeking some. I personally prefer subtle scary moments (if done well) rather than torture porn so I'll be watching a lot in this subgenre regardless.

Look for the 'CC' button if the movie doesn't have burnt in English subs also if you're looking for a specific movie include 'English' or 'English sub' in the search field along with the movie title. No channel suggestions, unfortunately.
