Thanks for the heads up regarding the Japan GAH blu-ray releases. I'm such a huge fan of the series yet I had no idea this was in the works. Just checked Amazon.jp and it lists the entire series as being released in four separate volumes with the final volume released in August. Hope we'll see a Region 1 blu-ray release someday...

I strongly doubt it gets released in the United States. The owners are willing to license it but the Blu-ray economics for an older TV series in 2014 are not that good.

I bought the FS version from Front Row (title: Timescape) many years ago and sold it before it jumped through the roof. I have the WS version I bought at DD about 5 years ago. I probably should list it at an exorbitant price and see if anyone bites. I do love this movie though and it's one I'd like to have. My favorite genre is time travel movies and there aren't many good ones.

If you have "Drop Dead Gorgeous" in your collection - apparently that's worth some big bucks on Amazon.

Mine used to be "Seven Samurai" Criterion first printing, but now it's probably "Serial Experiments Lain" lunchbox set.

The first one that comes to mind is Unearthed Films' release of the Guinea Pig series.

I bought it for $50-60 at Best Buy back in 2005 and it goes for about $120-150 at the moment.

I have a legitamte, non-bootleg copy of The History of Beavis and Butthead, which was recalled the day it came out. I've seen it sell between $150-200.

WOW! I just bought that *new* from Amazon back in December for $55. Of course Amazon will buy your copy for "up to $5.50"...

A lot of the Filmation Shows BCI released prior to going out of business also go for a pretty penny. Good luck in finding Flash Gordon, Secrets of Isis & Ark II, among others for under $40.00. rotfl

I was not aware of that, it might be time to move my copies.

First one that comes to mind is Nick Fury, Agent of SHIELD, the Best Buy exclusive DVD of the TV movie starring David Hasselhoff. The cheapest one on Amazon right now is >$50, but I'm too much of a Marvel whore to get rid of it. And I've never even gotten around to watching it!
I actually just sold my Anchor Bay Horror of Frankenstein because I found out it was rare, got $40 for it on Amazon.
Like others, I have the Anchor Bay multi-disc sets for Supergirl, Army of Darkness and House 1/2.

Here's another Wallet Buster, The Gerry Anderson "Supermarionation" series [B]Stingray[/B.] The Big River wants a little over $108.00 for a USED Set and almost $245.00 for a new set. :jawdrop:

I got my copy along with Supercar and Fireball XL 5 for $20.00 at a Yard Sale a couple of years ago. :D

That's for the lowest price listed - it goes up from there.

Wow- Drop Dead Gorgeous was one of the first "bargain-priced" DVDs after it had been out for a while- got mine for about 5 bucks which was dirt-cheap at the time. That was one of those discs almost everyone had just because it was cheap.

Its price went up because it went out of print (in R1 and other regions).

Looking back on my Amazon titles I've sold in the last few years, I realize I've got rid of mine too cheap. Maybe I need now to go through my current inventory and mark many up.

Maybe even mark a couple down.

Classic Serials Megapack, which one could get for $5.00 at Uncle Wally's a few years ago, now sells for almost $80.00 for a new set (A Used one sells for about $25.00). rotfl
