Paint Your Wagon - how to play in different region?

I have recently received a copy of the Movie made in 1971 / 1972. " Paint Your Wagon" I try watch it n the first thing that came up, was this message...
" Playback is not Authorized in your Region " What those this mean n how can I
get this DVD to play on my DVD player? Please advise.

Ummm...first off, which version did you get? Second thought that comes to mind is, since it seems obvious you have one that doesn't match your region, you'll either need to get a region-free player or the proper disc.

I guess you are not familiar with region codes? hm

So, yes, which region's DVD did you buy? And also, which model DVD player do you have? Check to see if it is possible to hack the region code. Some players can, some can't.
