Cougar Town: Season Two at Walmart
 

I went out to buy the second season of Cougar Town at Walmart this morning, since that's where it would have been cheapest to get it (especially with the $10 Disney coupon). To my surprise, when I went to check out, the register said "Sale Not Authorized" and wouldn't let the cashier sell it to me. She called over her boss to see what the deal was, and they told me that it was "in recall" and they weren't allowed to sell it. I was kind of flabbergasted by this because I'd never seen or heard of such a thing before, plus I really wanted to get CT. So I went to Best Buy to see if I'd have better luck there - which I did. Sale went without a hitch.

Has anybody else encountered this problem at Walmart?

I haven't.

I did get a shipping notice for it from a different store though.

My mother texted me complaining about a similar issue. I don't know what it is with walmarts stock...

Wal Mart breaks street date all the time, but I'm guessing they have the wrong street date for that title in their system and its not letting them sell them.
