The widescreen "faces" VHS box set from 1995 is probably the most valuable VHS release of Star Wars, but it's probably only about $20-$40 sealed/new. It's valuable only because it's a nice box and attractive to SW collectors, not because anyone would want to watch the films on VHS.

If he listed it for $15, it would almost certainly sell in less than 24 hours.

The new set that was listed at $19.87 sold today.

It's now 11 new from $19.88

Hey now, you can't just prove your point by buying the sets yourself ;)

It may also have just been listed so long that it got taken off. I had that happen with one thing I was selling. I think it was something like 3 months. Maybe they stopped doing that, I don't know.

I'm guessing it probably did sell, but there's always the chance a seller put themselves on 'vacation' which takes their entire inventory off of Amazon until they get back and turn their vacation off.

But never underestimate the drive of a serious collector. It's all about having EVERYTHING in whatever collection they choose, and if they choose STAR WARS, they'll need every VHS even if it's completely obsolete, and a new-sealed one is way more attractive than 100 used ones, regardless of price.
