Problem with Vengeance Trilogy box set
 

So, I bought the Vengeance Trilogy dvd box set a year ago. I had no problems playing 7 of the eight dvds. A few weeks ago, though, I put on Lady Vengeance-the original version- in my dvd player for the first time and I noticed right away that it was incorrectly framed. It was letterboxed at 1.85:1, when the correct aspect ratio should be 2.35:1. I emailed Palisades Tartan re: this problem(their customer service sucks by the way) and a few weeks(!) later they finally responded. Basically, they said there was some kind of authoring problem with this particular dvd,and that ALL copies of Lady Vengeance in this box set were incorrectly formatted. Oh, and they had no idea when correctly letterboxed versions will be produced and when I could get a replacement copy. Nice.
Does anybody else own this box set and have this problem? Again, it's just the original version of Lady Vengeance that's messed up. The Fade to White
version, as well as Oldboy and Sympathy are all framed correctly.
