Question about Carnival of Souls Criterion

Was Carnival of Souls released in one of those thick double dvd cases (sorry if i don't know the proper name) like Ikiru and Do the Right Thing?

And on the same subject...what other Criterions were released in that same case?

I know about the following:
Armageddon
Rock
Ikiru
Do the Right Thing
Straw Dogs
Lower Depths
M
Beastie Boys
Traffic

Thanks a lot!

Most of the 2 disc sets released pre-wacky C logo are in thick cases

Re: Question about Carnival of Souls Criterion

Criterion quietly discontinued some of the old thick case releases - Harakiri, Equinox, etc to re-release in standard size cases.

Re: Question about Carnival of Souls Criterion

I always loved those cases for Criterions.

Pretty sure about all of these:
Solaris
Ran Late Spring
Contempt
Divorce Italian Style
Elevator To The Gallows
The Leopard
Naked Lunch
Rushmore
Shoot The Piano Player
Spartacus
Young Mr. Lincoln

I feel like Fear and Loathing and Slacker might also be on the list, but I don't own them, so I can't confirm that...I'm just going off memory.

Criterion out-right lost the rights to Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie so it'll not be re-released in a slimmer standard case.
