Anchorbay Horror Legacy Series (Rare DVDs?)

Since Halloween is near...

Anyone of you here ever heard, seen or own an Anchorbay Horror Legacy Series DVD?

Well, what I gathered so far was that Anchorbay made a very limited run for this release. Packaged in an exclusive slipcase having "The Horror Legacy Series" written on the slipcase.

Print run of this dvd were done in 2006.

So far, the ones I heard as part of this very limited release series were

- Dawn of the Dead (1970s)
- Evil Dead 1
- Hill Have Eyes (1970s)
- Halloween (1970s)

any chance that with that auction coming out of Canada, that these may have been available only north of the border? Possibly even slip covers on old stock that had the same upc codes as before?

Wow, never even heard of these. Were they supposed to have any different features from the US releases, or just a slipcover?

and uncommon to the rest of the world..

I would highly appreciate if you could share the UPC# for Evil Dead? and if the said release was indeed Anchorbay? or already under STARZ banner...

I've never heard of these either...although, unless they had some great special features not found on any of the other DVD's, they aren't worth it then.

glad to hear you found it without to much trouble. Let us know if anything is changed across the disc when you get around to opening it up.

Re: Anchorbay Horror Legacy Series

Don't get too excited about "The Horror Legacy series". I own few of them:
-House
-Nosferatu
-Hellraiser
-Demons
-Re-Aminator
They're so cheap ans useless! There's no bonus, no interviews or anything else. it's completely a waste of money! Yes the artworks are pretty cool, but that's all! Try to get a real edition at a better price!

4/10 For "The Horror Legacy series"
