Ernie Kovacs-6 Disc collection from Shout Factory due April 19th
TVShowsOnDVD.com announced today this forthcoming collection packed with tons of extras. Please note the fine print that if you pre-order thru Shout Factory they will include an extra disc containing 2 hours of content

Wait, where is the fine print about the pre-order and bonus material on Amazon? I see it on the Shout! Factory site, but not on Amazon. I want to make sure that I don't order it from Amazon if the bonus material is only when ordering from Shout! Factory, or vice versa. Sorry if this is obvious to everyone else but it's the type of thing I always screw up.

You might want to correct your original post.
Fortunately I figured this out and pre-ordered from Shout! Factory. I have the original "Best of Ernie Kovacs" DVD set. The Shout! Factory set looks like it may be in the early lead for DVD release of the year.

There were mashup videos on youtube of Ernie Kovacs' show and 70's and 80's music like Nights in White Satin against the triple date video or Relax from Frankie Goes To Hollywood juxtaposed against the automated kitchen bits.
Would like to see this boxset sometime after it's release.

Bump for the upcoming release. I talked myself into pre-ordering through Shout Factory to get the bonus disc. I was on the fence; I don't think I've made it through the previous collection that was released about 10 years ago, but what the hell.

I never could understand the comedy of this guy. I tried watching his stuff from the final episode of Luci-Desi Comedy Hour and his humor is somewhat serious in scope. He's trying to be funny but it just comes off as...eh. Heard the set is a good one from Shout for those who are fans of his work.
