I'm in the 5k to 9k range. I actually stopped going to the movies as much about the time I started really buying DVDs (and when I joined Netflix) because I enjoy watching movies at home now more than in a theater with no control over the movie or annoying people. At the time I was going to a movie about once every two or three weeks, so now that money (plus the $ on popcorn and soda) goes to the DVD budget. I know it's rationalizing, but there's truth to it.
