ok this is some TBD's I have found out, first. December is set. only two movies still being announced that havnt yet are Devil and Wall street 2, but I am assuming Devil will be moving to January only because the preebook date would be next week.
January TBD Get Low Middle Men Tales from Earthsea (might change to feb) Mao's Last dancer The Tillman Story Catfish Burried Waiting for Superman Case 39 Let me In It's Kind of a funny story My Soul to Take RED SAW 3-D February TBD Secretariat Conviction Jackass 3D I Want your Money Paranormal Activity 2 (also heard that it might pop back up for Dec 27th as well) Welcome to the Reilys Fair Game Megamind For Colored Girls Morning Glory Skyline Unstoppable March TBD Due Date Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows Part 1 Faster thats it so far. things will really get moved around alot, considering the last of huge titles in Late January/Early February |
Re: DVD Talk New-To-DVD Theatrical Release and Discussion Thread

Re: DVD Talk New-To-DVD Theatrical Release and Discussion Thread
Target.com has Jolene listed for November 23. I wonder if this is going to be one of their exclusives like My One and Only and Me and Orson Welles?

Any "word" on Never Let Me Go?

Re: DVD Talk New-To-DVD Theatrical Release and Discussion Thread
Like I said before, Salt Unrated edition is indeed going to feature all three versions of movie: Theatrical, Extended and Director's Cut. It is really hard for me to believe they can actually accommodate all three versions on just one single sided disc. I maybe wrong, but I think they are going to have a flipper disc for Unrated DVD. If that's true, then I have no interest in buying the unrated DVD. I will stick with the theatrical instead.
Can someone please confirm that? |
Re: DVD Talk New-To-DVD Theatrical Release and Discussion Thread
I would think they would use seamless branching. There can't be THAT much difference between all 3 cuts.
|
Re: DVD Talk New-To-DVD Theatrical Release and Discussion Thread
i never understood the diffrence between extended and directors to be honest. i always thought it was the same cut

oh and i was advised on friday, that we are not allowed to street anything on 3/15 because Harry Potter 7A (Deathly Hallows part 1) is being released that date. and that if we choose to release Tangled around that date, that we should street it later in the month or early april. so Instead we are thinking of streeting "The Tempest" which is going into a limited release in december in late march, and moving "Tangled" to Mid April. Tron:Legacy is looking like it will be May. |
