Can anyone who owns this DVD tell me if this copy is any good? Uncut? No problems viewing in US Region 1/NTSC DVD players? Was there ever a WS version made?

I remember seeing this movie a LONG time ago on VHS, remember liking it because it wasn't all just mindless violence, it actually had a decent story behind it. Now I find it's not available on DVD except as Region 0/All and I'm wondering if the copy is any good.

Anyone here know anything about it?
