Just a reminder season one releases Tues!
Looks like the set is a winner!
Strange that the episodes are not in order- but really makes no difference as each episode is not a continuation from the previous

Pre-ordered mine in early February. Got an email Saturday saying it has been shipped and is in transit. :-)

One thing that makes me curious is how this is packaged. The description in the review reminds me of how Universal packaged the 25th Anniversary set of Back To The Future. Considering how much backlash that got, I'm wondering if this is done the same way...

Family Video TODAY ONLY on 4/12/2011 has Season 1 on sale for $17.99 and with a free shipping code of SNA8EYEM, you can save a little more on the price but again, today only as their steal of the day. Just ordered mine.

Same here the price is down but what spoils it is the episodes are all over the place and not in broadcast or production order.

Re: Car 54 where are you? coming early 2011?

Bought Season 1, I liked it . my favorite episode was when they went undercover at the baseball game to catch a pick pocket thief, I won't spoil it any further for people who don't know the ending.
I guess i'll get Season 2, maybe not on release day though, but eventually.
Hmm, just saw that Season 3 of Night Gallery will be released on the same day. Might be a good, one-two punch. May have to re-think my " might not buy them on release day comment "

BUMP

Season 2 - now bumped back a bit to an April 24th release date - is priced at $19.99 at Amazon. It has been flipping back-and-forth between $20.99 and $19.99 during the past couple of weeks. Season 1 came out almost a year ago and the lowest Amazon price since then has been $19.99 (as far as I can tell). I'm happy picking up Season 2 at the current pricepoint. I'm very glad Season 2 is coming; I was getting a little concerned since there wasn't any news for a while.

I loved the first season!!! So many terrific episodes. My favorite might have been I WON'T GO with the cake lady who refused to be evicted. Nat Hiken was a supremely talented fellow.

Entirely unrelated to all of the above, but still something that I hope some find amusing...following is a youtube link to a comedy segment from the 1950's television program YOUR SHOW OF SHOWS. TCM junkies might be familiar with it because it aired on the channel a couple months back....it's the THIS IS YOUR STORY clip. I think it is very funny and a marvelous example of physical comedy.

^According to camelcamelcamel the lowest price for S1 has been $19.98 on Feb. 2nd, 2011. I pre-ordered S2 at $20.99 and have had one price adjustment down to the current $19.99. As that's 50% off, I'm happy, especially as that's pretty much what I paid for S1. I'll be thrilled if it drops lower but 50% off is good.
