Does anyone have a list of Criterion horror titles they could post?

Here's a list of DVD Criterion releases with elements of horror, but they might not all fit the bill (assuming allmovie.com or imdb.com genre labels are used to determine "horror"):
The Blob
Blood for Dracula
Carnival of Souls
Clean, Shaven
Diabloique
Dead Ringers
Empire of Passion
Equinox
Eyes Without a Face
Fiend Without Face
Flesh for Frankenstein
Häxan
The Honeymoon Killers
Jigoku
Knife in the Water
Kwaidan
M
Man Bites Dog
Onibaba
Peeping Tom
Picnic at Hanging Rock
Repulsion
The Silence of the Lambs
Sisters
Vampyr
The Vanishing
Videodrome
...plus they just announced House for November 2010 and Chronos for December 2010.

It's not complete, and not all of these may qualify, but just browsing through the discussion and list threads from the Criterion Challenge last year and this year, as well as Wikipedia's list of Laser Disc releases, I've come up with:
The Blob
Blood for Dracula
Cat People (Laser Disc release; #233)
Dead Ringers
Bram Stoker's Dracula
Flesh for Frankenstein
Ghostbusters (Laser Disc release; #75)
Halloween (Laser Disc release; #247)
Jigoku
Last Year at Marienbad
Onibaba
Peeping Tom
Repulsion
Se7en
The Silence of the Lambs
Vampyr

Jigoku

Onibaba
Peeping Tom
Repulsion
Se7en
The Silence of the Lambs
Vampyr

An IMDb search for genre=horror + company (distributor)=Criterion Collection gives 39 titles. (Zorgon... is a short film that's a special feature on Equinox. And I'm pretty sure The Witches is a lie, but otherwise that looks like a pretty good list.)

I just searched Netflix to see if we could stream Peeping Tom. The first search result was the 1960 movie (yes, it can be streamed). The second search result? Tom Selleck.

Okay, Sept. 30 is a Thursday, so it probably won't help much.

I am so syched for this. I know I won't come close to touching what I did last year but I'm still going to have a hell of a time with it.

I assume we'll still be able to count films we watch in "overtime" (midnight to dawn on Nov. 1) this year - since Halloween is on Sunday this year, would it make sense to have a "pregame" (sundown to midnight on Sept. 30) choice (either/or) for those of us with less flexible schedules?

Too bad the Subspecies set plus pit & pendulim and the rest of the full moon films won't be out until 11/9 they'd be great for October. I could of picked up a lot of points with those.

Unfortunately Netflix won't be carrying the NOES remake until November. I'm sure it's atrocious, but I still wanted to see it during October. I added the Elm Street Legacy doc in it's place, along with Cujo, Drag Me to Hell, Paranormal Activity, Delicatessen and The Wolfman, but I still have 2 slots available. Any other HD suggestions? I watched all of the catalog horror titles last year, so I'm looking for something more recent.

The floodgates of hell have opened. We're officially taking submissions for the "31 Films Subset" list.
First off, remember not to duplicate anything from the previous lists:
Make sure it's widely available through Netflix, online retailers, etc. and not on the verge of going OOP. And at least have the intention of participating in some discussion ...especially for your own pick. Obviously I'm not one to talk being that I haven't exactly done so in the past myself. We'll probably have one pick per person, that is, if we can get enough people.
And as far as the selection itself, try to pick something that's really worthy of some discussion and just an all around good film. This has always been a great resource for finding hidden gems, so you might consider picking an underrated film you feel deserves more recognition. It can be mainstream or obscure just, again, make sure it's easily obtainable. And if we get more than 31 picks (from just as many people) we'll have to decide as a group which selections will make the cut.
I'm picking Salvage (2009). Not to be confused with the 2006 film of the same name.

I've been sprucing up my Netflix queue in anticipation. I will do much better this year.
