"New York Confidential" Pulled from Amazon - Why?
 

I've been looking forward to this release since it was announced, but when I was about to buy it, I see Amazon is not selling it. A message posted on the product's page says:

"Item Under Review

While this item is available from other marketplace sellers on this page, it is not currently offered by Amazon.com because customers have told us there may be something wrong with our inventory of the item, the way we are shipping it, or the way it's described here. (Thanks for the tip!)

We're working to fix the problem as quickly as possible."

Anyone have any more info on this? Is this an internal Amazon problem, or is there a problem with this DVD release?

It's pretty self explanatory that the problem is an Amazon internal issue of some sort and that they are working to correct the problem. I've seen this happen with other DVDs and the problem has been corrected in a couple of days on other items I've seen that message on. Be patient.

When that happens, either they are sending the wrong item or there is something wrong with the disc or packaging. It happened not so long ago with Seventh Seal criterion Blu-ray.

It is now listed as in stock and shipping!!
