Human Centipede and More on DVD

The film that had audiences talking, The Human Centipede, is coming to DVD and Blu-ray on October 5.

IFC made the announcement and also revealed DVD plans for some of their other titles. Look for The Tormented on August 31, Coffin Rock and Doghouse on October 12 and Mutants anf Hush on October 26.


i'll be getting doghouse and human centipede but kind surprised the Horde another french zombie film isn't included with this lineup

I bought it last week. It arrived. I watched it, it was crap!

Should have saved 12 bucks and just ordered it in OnDemand for 8 bucks!

Yes, literally.

Did you read any reviews or even check out the Human Centipede thread in Movie Talk? Most of the reviews have been really negative. This is an awful blind purchase for anyone considering it. I saw this for free and was glad I didn't pay a dime for it.

Owning this movie is more a token of quirkiness than a serious purchase or appreciator of the movie. Which is indeed shit.

yeah if your expecting like a work of art or award worthy acting/film making, your lookin in the wrong place. there is a reason the distributer essentially only played it at midnight screenings

I'll probably see this eventually, but will it be as truly shocking as Willem Dafoe's bloody ejaculate or Jessica Alba's skinning beat-down, to reference two other recent IFC shockers?

I will be holding out for the eventual Criterion version, with actor's commentary delivered in character and A2M.
