Saturday Night Live SNL Best of Will Ferrell Volume 3
Back in November we reported that a Canadian DVD release of Saturday Night Live - Best Of Will Ferrell: Volume 3 was available north-of-the-border. Now, six months later, Universal Studios Home Entertainment has announced that they will release it in the USA as well, with a street date of August 3rd. This single-disc title costing $19.98 SRP is described as having content that includes skuts such as "Inside the Actors Studio, Celebrity Jeopardy, and Cheerleader-Chess"; this certainly sounds like it will be the same as the Canadian version of the title that Maple Pictures distributed up there. Video is anamorphic widescreen, audio is English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround, and English subtitles are mentioned as well. Hopefully it won't be the same & they replace the repeated sketches.

Anyway, they need to port over the Best of Tim Meadows from VHS. That's the only one that hasn't been yet. And bring on some new ones of these, it's been too long. |
