Could it really be true !? After all these years ?
I expect bare bones for sure and probably a so-so transfer though. Just please no 1.33:1 AR :(

There is virtually NO info on the DVD but there is a pre-order link and release date of May 11th
I am to assume this is being released by TCM (Turner Classic Movies) ?

I really want this on DVD. At least two commentaries, a making of documentary, and deleted scenes. This is a childhood favorite.

At the very bottom, it says 'DVDs supplied by Movies Unlimited'
So going THERE also gives little detail. Think I will try and email to get some info on whats on the disc and all that.

That's probably gonna be the only option for it. I would get it, but won't pay that much for a burned dvd.

Yeah, that's why I put "official" paying that much for a DVD-R is unacceptable, IMO. But you are probably right, that may be the best we get.

I can't tell you how many times I rented this movie as a kid. Rode my BMX to the video to rent it weekly. :lol:

I can't imagine buying this. I wonder what the odds of Netflix getting this are.

I remember watching Rad many times as a kid, I just can't imagine this movie has aged well. Maybe a double feature with Rad and North Shore are in order.

Which studio is releasing this? I can't imagine WB giving it a wide release when Airborne only got the DVD-r treatment

Exactly. This movie, by all appearances, seems to be one of those better left to nostalgic memories, which is why I said I couldn't imagine owning it. Watching it once for shits and giggles, on the other hand, why not?

I think the soundtrack alone has made it age well.
I'm bias to this movie though as it came out while I was racing BMX so it was something for 'us'
I have it on my DVR from when INHD showed it and even my kids love watching it.

the site has numerous bootlegs they sell on dvd

check out

the night the lights went out in georgia, and many others

then look at they reviews, and amazon comments on the dvds.
