A Question About Selling Banned Films?
I'm not trying to promote a sale I have nor will I provide the link to said sale, but I'm trying to sell my copy of Cannibal Holocaust and it's a PAL DVD but region 0, my question may be stupid but I want to make sure. Can you get in trouble if someone from a country where the movie is banned buys it and then I send it to said country?

I'm no lawyer, but I would think participating in a transaction of any kind to sell a good or service to someone living in a jurisdiction where that good or service is prohibited by law would fall under the "Not a Good Idea" category.
I'd find another buyer.
Edit:
On the other hand, I'm no supporter of banning films. I say, sell it anyway and if you find yourself in hot water, call Google and ask for their legal department.

I don't know if it's still banned or not but I'm wondering if I should just not sell it on eBay at all. I don't want it anymore but it's a PAL DVD so the chances of someone buying it in this country is probably very low.

Sure, common Joe on ebay might get confused even if you spell it out in large letters, but lots of film collectors would have no problems with it.
Can't find the raises hand smiley, but people here might be interested in buying it from you.

Really? I thought most of us here had region-free and PAL compatible players.

I'm not sure how you can get in trouble. They can't really enforce their laws on you since you're in the US. They aren't going to extradite you over a dvd.

Re: A Question About Selling Banned Films?
The movie is legal in the US, so you're not doing anything wrong. The worst than can happen is that foreign customs confiscate it on arrival, but again it will not apply to you in any way, since the sole responsibility lies with the buyer.
I don't think it's really banned anymore, and most countries allowed banned content as long as it's imported for personal use, and does not fall under any state or federal law (eg. child pornography etc.). So you're safe either way.

This is exactly right. It is the buyer's responsibility to make sure he/she isn't importing something illegal. You should warn potential buyers in your listing to check about the film's legal status in their country.
