Picked up Capitol Punishment for 16.99 and Immortal Forever for 12.99 at FYI on Long Island today. Sucks there's now no BD for CP & MITB considering how good MITB was.

Something interesting about MITB, Blu-ray.com has it posted as a Best Buy Exclusive.

http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/WWE-Mo...Blu-ray/23948/

Hope this is true, it was such an amazing event and love to own it on blu.

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume XIII

ROH is currently having a clearance sale on their site. All remaining WWE and TNA dvds are just $10. Some decent deals to be had, but the choice is fairly limited. Also, you can grab ROH Skull Caps for only $6.50 each, ROH Baseball Caps only $10 each and 8 X 10 Autographed Photos for only $5 each

http://www.rohstore.com.

Based on this, I'm guessing they won't be carrying TNA and WWE discs anymore. It's too bad, because they were a good option to score good deals on TNA dvds sometimes up to a few weeks before their actual retail releases.

They also have the Capitol Punishment Blu listed. I'm not going to get too excited just yet.

I agree, though with WWE DVDs, they don't ship them early like with TNA.

Sucks that they likely won't carry TNA DVDs, that's where i always get them because of them shipping early and during the % off sales which end up being even cheaper than in Canada (including the shipping).

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume XIII

Yeah it's think it's safe to say they won't be stocking either company again, they haven't had any WWE since WM which was only on the site for a couple of days and haven't stocked the latest TNA. It's a real shame as they were my main source for getting WWE/TNA to the UK using the right sales you could get them for a good price and shipping was rarely over a week unlike the 2-3 weeks wweshop and amazon take.

At least the contents are being printed now on the newest WWE DVD releases. Maybe they finally listened to their customers and did the right thing.

They should call it "Superstars of the 21st Century PART ONE".
That way it leaves it open for part 2, 3, 4... there's 89 more years for them to cover and who knows what other new stars will arise in those years.

Looks like Capitol Punishment Blu-ray does exist;

http://www.wwedvdnews.com/wwe-capito...blu-ray/15652/

Looks like it might be super rare though.

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume XIII

That f*cking pisses me that they didn't announce it. I had off Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and I could have gone to BB to find it. Now on the BB website it says backordered.

Oh well, if I get it...cool. If I don't, I'll live. But now I'm DEFINITELY going on the hunt the day MITB comes out. Getting that on Blu-ray one way or another.

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume XIII

I just ordered it on Best Buy's website just in case. I actually work at Best Buy in MA, I'm gonna look it up tomorrow and see if any stores actually DO have it and see what I can find.

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume XIII

The person that owns the CP blu-ray said he got it from FYE...it might be an exclusive to them seeing as how they recently carried the Nitro DVD with exclusive extras. Wouldn't surprise me if FYE has signed with WWE to sell select blu-rays.

But now watching the vid again, i noticed all his other WWE blus are still in their packaging except CP, could be messing with us and he also seemed to avoid a full front shot of the cover. It could be a printed wallpaper put inside a blu-ray case.

I wouldn't get my hopes up until I've seen another person post pictures to believe...kind of sketchy on this though.

Clearly trying to ruffle some feathers. Coverart shouldn't be all bubbly like that.

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume XIII

Clearly he's lying, I looked up the SKU on the disc in our system at Best Buy, it still listed as "Fatal Four Way" and none are in stock anywhere, stores never had them. I know he claimed he found it at FYE, but I'll still call shenanigans on the whole thing.

Yea, doesn't look legit at all.

It's funny in the comments, he wrote "why people are making a big deal on one blu-ray|...i said "reason why people are making a big deal is because you claim to be the only person in the US/Canada that has it on blu-ray...so if it's legit you wouldn't mind posting more proof so we know it truly does exist and we could try to hunt down a copy as well and that all your blus are sealed except CP".

Seriously, if it turns out to be fake, what an ass...clearly has to much time on his hands trying to fool the internet wrestling community.

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume XIII

If it ever beomes available (either title) it'll probably be a Best Buy Exclusive but if this guy was just doing this for a laugh, then the joke's on him and he makes himself look really bad.

It's a fake. Read the comments on that WWEDVDNews website, the commenters there are doing a fine job of debunking this idiot.

Releases 3 days before my Birthday, I am so getting that. Not even a question. It is probably a million to one longshot (perhaps a billion to one), but what are the chances we get an extra of CM Punk's epic tirade in full from Raw?

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume XIII

I don't know who looks worse. The guy wasting his time making a fake Blu-Ray, or the people getting super pissed at him for doing it.

It's not a big deal.

Anyways, what are some opinions on the new Rey DVD? Besides complaining about repeat matches or ones that are too recent, is it worth getting?

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume XIII

You really don't know which is worse?

A guy going out of his way to pretend that a blu-ray exists?

Or people being upset that a blu ray they might have wanted to buy doesn't exist at all?

As The Miz would say...really?

Someone going out of their way to put a DVD insert into a blu-ray case, shooting a little video out of it, and then uploading the video just to hoax people is a waste of people's time and downright pathetic.

And as someone who would have purchased CP on Blu-ray, I'm pissed about it, too. People have the right to be pissed about something like that. But what can you do? Some people have too much time on their hands.

I agree...i'm guessing it is Capitol Punishment on blu-ray, but from ioffer with someone just recording the HD broadcast burning it onto a blu-ray disc using the DVD cover to shrink it to blu-ray size and there you go, he is fooling tons of people.

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume XIII

Just got around to watching the Lesnar-Angle Iron Man Match on the Grestest Superstars of the 21st Century. I can confirm that is shown in its entirety. From the opening bell to the end of the match. Here are some screen caps I did:
