Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume XIII
I will buy the Jerich DVD on day 1 to show WWE that i want more jericho in the future. If Ric Flair, Shawn Micheals and Hulk Hogan can get 3-4 DVD releases then dammit i want Jericho to get at least 1 more with just matches. 20-40 more Jericho matches would be awesome.
Now is anyone else surprised that we have never gotten a single Hornswoggle DVD? I mean they shoved him down our throats and he had like 1,000 matches with Chavo so a DVD would be hilarious plus my 5 year old loves that Little Bastard and would be extremly happy with a DVD of Horny

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume XIII
do you think they don't include matches because of blading, i think they do, sure they include it on the chamber dvd and others like that, but on sets like jericho they seem to go "PG", i dont like that, if some of his best matches have blade jobs then they should include, then slap a PG-13 or whatever on it, i think its wrong to leave out great matches because there in the PG era right now, when releasing a history set they need to include the great matches no matter what rating it would get, its like kobe bryant leaving the nba and the nba hating him and wanting to forget him, then releasing a history of the nba, and not including him because it doesn't fit there current thing
and the hardcore justice should have a entire 2nd extra disc just with all the former ecw guys talking about there current thoughts on wrestling, favorite memories and such
maybe have each wrestler a short extra, then have 1 big extra with all of them talking about wrestling in general, maybe shortly before or shortly after the hardcore justice ppv

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume XIII
First off, some thoughts on the Y2J set. It's not perfect of course. But it looks more than solid and I know I'll enjoy it. The documentary will most likely be quite entertaining. And the match selection has Jericho up against all the big hitters and adds just enough curveballs to not piss me off. Yeah, I'd love more of his WCW (I mean, c'mon...3 matches??) & SMW stuff on here, not to mention the Pitbull match from ECW. But I give kudos for including the Ultimo Dragon bout from WAR (I'm assuming?). It's been ages since I've watched the Jericho -vs- Cactus match, so that'll be cool to see. And "Cowboy" Chris Jericho sounds worth the price of admission alone!
Hopefully the next Jericho set will load up on more obscure gems, but for now I'm pretty satisfied with the current offering.
Jay

They also restocked 8th Anniversary Show which will be available Aug. 17. Been looking for this show for couple months. What's funny is that just last week a brand new copy someone was selling from Ireland on that auction site went for $50 US...that buyer must be kicking himself now.

The sales are great. I loved the 45% off a couple weeks ago. Got 11 dvds for $104. Can't beat that.

I really wish the Jericho DVD included his Cage Match with Christian from RAW 2004, the Cage Match with Batista from the 800th epidsode of RAW, and (I know, wishful thinking) his match with Danielson on the debut of NXT.

I'm pretty happy with the Jericho dvd listing. I could say I wish it had this and that but at least we finally got a Jericho dvd! Definite buy the first week for me.

There is a trailer for Jericho's DVD set. It is easily my most anticipated DVD of the year.

Picked up Raw: The Beginning for $24.96 at Walmart, then a few hours later saw it at FYE for $22.99. Only a few bucks, not a big deal. I'm surprised there's no exclusive for this release, WWE has been slacking when it comes to bonus discs/deals.
