That really is a great looking cover, but at the same time it kinda sucks that the picture they used is in that horrid get-up they made him wear during his lame 1991 WWF run. The stuff on the discs is what really matters, though.

I hope the content for both Undertaker and Ricky Steamboat will be revealed soon. I remember last year the Savage DVD matches were announced like 3-4 months before the release.

Pretty cool, especially if Undertaker will be narrating it. Hope they release the match listing soon.

I don't think Silvervision adds stuff to old Coliseum/WWF home video releases, but I could be wrong. The Razor and Diesel titles were both released back in 1994/95.

With Taker quoting about being in the Inferno a second time, I think that all but confirms the Taker/Kane Inferno Match from RAW 1999.

I guess no steelbook is planned for WM26 like last year or even packaged in a tin like with 23 and 24.

Yeah, that kinda bugs me. I bought WM 23 and 24 in the tins and 25 in the steelbook, so it's going to look weird on my shelf having 21, 22, and 26.

The blu-rays will look nice, though.

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume XIII

I was on WWE.com and for their WWEClassics.com, they are airing full RAW shows from 93 to 95.

I guess it's possible to have every RAW in their entirety from 93 on DVD since from the looks of it there were only 45 episodes in 93 and majority are ranged from 35-45 minutes (without commercials of course) with couple being 30 minutes and 50 minutes.

Even 94, 95 and 96 episodes were only 1 hour. Only problem would be putting the full shows when RAW starting going 2 hours.

There will be an $18.50 version which will be Mania and the one hour Hall of Fame special that aired on the USA Network. There will be a regular Blu Ray of the PPV & Hall of Fame ceremony. And there will be a three disc Blu Ray for Best Buy that will include the 3/22 Raw and 3/26 Smackdown go-home shows. I believe some of the sets will also include the Shawn Michaels retirement speech on Raw. (thanks to Leon Peters)
I havent seen anything on best buy's website or in their ad that there would be 2 versions of the blu-ray release, any confirmation on this?

Best Buy will carry the 3-disc one that has the episodes of RAW/SmackDown, like they did with the Rumble.

When the Blu-Ray hits other stores at a later date, it won't include the extra disc with the go-home shows on it.

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume XIII

Best Buy isn't the only place that will carry the 3 disc Blu-ray, Canada and UK will also be getting it with the RAW/SD shows.

So the regular 2 disc will probably be what Amazon will carry in July.

Some seller on "greed-bay" is selling the 3 disc blu-ray for $60, what a complete utter rip off. If people in the US want it could just import it from Amazon.ca, if they can't find it at BB online or stores and it will be way cheaper.

Even if each episode then was 30 minutes (the avg. was probably around 42-45), you're still talking about close to 10 discs. Seems like a lot for something like this. I'd love it, but I still have my doubts that it will be the entire uncut season that is released.

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume XIII

I dug through some piles of dvds today and came across a double of Best of AMW & Victory Road 06, I know the AMW Dvd has some value (over $50) but is Victory Road 06 still pulling in big $$$$? I don't know if I'm gonna part with these yet, I guess if the right offer comes along I will. I see there's one on greedbay from the UK listed for $20+, if that's the value I've waited too long to hawk this sucker.

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume XIII

Anybody know anything about these WWE DVD releases in Japan?

"WWE Diva Premium Box" [Limited Release] (5 Disc) & "WWE Diva Diaries 2007".

Just came across them and was interested. I wonder what they filled 5 discs with in that box set.

Does that Throwback Champion guy still post here? If so, I'm sure he'll respond soon with 38 pictures and a description.

Yessirreeee! Picked up the blu-ray of WM26 @ BBuy for $24.99, the FYE Exclusive WM26 3 Disc Boxed version w/dog tags for $19.99, and UFC 110 for $12.99 at FYE today.

Exclusive to the blu-ray, it's got the Raw & Smackdown shows that preceeded Mania.

Looking forward to watching HBK's swan song!

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume XIII

can anyone post a picture of the FYE WrestleMania w/ dog tags? I ordered the BD for store pick-up at Best Buy and I would just like to see if it's worth getting that version as well.

Also, is there any other exclusives for this WM release? Wal-Mart always has a bonus DVD. I'd appreciate any feedback greatly!

It's $24.99 at Best Buy. The FYE price is a real steal - I got it for $17.99 with the Backstage Pass card.
