Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume XIII

I bet the 2005 EC will be full. They've just worded it differently so they don't have to mention Benoit in the listings.

It makes zero since to leave off the full match just because he's it in. They've not removed him from other Anthology sets so I don't see this being any different.

And only 2 discs? Surely this will take up 3 discs? I cannot see the entire EC fitting on 2 discs as well as bonus content.

That's what i'm wondering.

7 Chamber matches are on the 1st disc and 4 plus bonus content on the 2nd. I doubt there is 7 full matches on on 1 disc given each chamber match is 30+ minutes which also include entrances. Maybe the person listing it made an error, so this is how i see it will be layed out:

Disc 1
The Chamber is born.

Survivor Series 2002
Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Rob Van Dam, Chris Jericho, Kane and Booker T

What makes the Chamber unique.

Summerslam 2003
Triple H, Goldberg, Chris Jericho, Kevin Nash, Shawn Michaels and Randy Orton

The King of Kings is King of the Chamber.

New Year's Revolution 2005
Triple H wins his third chamber in a row

Edge takes advantage.

New Years Revolution 2006
John Cena, Kurt Angle, Carlito, Kane, Chris Masters and Shawn Michaels

ECW takes center stage.

December to Dismember 2006
Bobby Lashley, CM Punk, Big Show, Test, Hardcore Holly and Rob Van Dam

Disc 2
The Monsters invade the Chamber.

No Way Out 2008
Undertaker, Big Daddy V, MVP, Batista, Finlay and Great Khali

No Way Out 2008
Jeff Hardy, Chris Jericho, JBL, Triple H, Shawn Michaels and Umaga

Two is better than one.

No Way Out 2009
John Cena, Edge, Mike Knox, Rey Mysterio, Kane and Chris Jericho

No Way Out 2009
Edge, Big Show, Jeff Hardy, Undertaker, Vladimir Kozlov and Triple H

Disc 3
Shaping Wrestlemania

Elimination Chamber 2010
Sheamus, Ted Dibiase, Triple H, John Cena, Randy Orton and Kofi Kingston

Elimination Chamber 2010
Undertaker, Chris Jericho, John Morrison, CM Punk, Rey Mysterio and R-Truth

What's next ?

Bonus Content:
The Game speaks out on his signature match.
Elimination Chamber Qualifying match: Chris Jericho vs Carlito
Elimination Chamber Qualifying match: Shawn Michaels vs Kane
Elimination Chamber Qualifying match: Triple H vs Rob Van Dam
Elimination Chamber Qualifying match: Undertaker vs Mark Henry

I have an extra copy I'd let go for $100 LOL

Has anyone else found that 3pack at Walmart? Was that in the US or Canada where you found it?

The Best of AMW for $100? is it brand new?

Which 3 pack? Cross the Line 1, 2 or 3?

Nah it's used and does have some scratches, but it plays all the way through no skips, I watched it myself.

The 3 pack that zombiewillard found at Walmart, with the Mr Perfect dvd, Dusty Rhodes dvd & Death of WCW DVD.

I'm telling you don't expect the 2005 Chamber full match to be included. If they had the full match on there they would have just listed the names also on the insert. The only way they'll include that entire match is if that one wrestler is blurred out like an old WWF scratch logo lol.

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume XIII

I'm not too sure about the acuracy of the Elimination Chamber listing (especially the bound content) when did Jericho vs Carltio, Kane vs HBK and RVD vs Triple H in qualifying matches happen? I know the Taker/Henry on happened on Smack Down but not the others,
Jericho did face Punk in a qualifying match. But RVD has been gone since 07.
Looks a bit fishy to me...

Hit up 2 Walmarts today looking for it. I'm heading out to another one right now. If you could provide pics that'd be great. Thanks for the heads up dude!

I saw it the other day at the Walmart in Washington, PA. I'm pretty sure it is just one disc with the documentary part of each of the DVDs.

Read in a couple of wrestling sites that WWE will finally release in September a 3 disc DVD set of Chris Jericho.

These sites are only assuming this based off of a tweet he posted about a new project. Hopefully it's a right assumption.

Well, it's obviously way overdue!! So hopefully it's legit. It should be 4 discs IMO. But since he's still in his prime, I'm sure he'll have multiple sets over time. The question is now, what would you all like to see included?

ill get some pictures up here in a few days. im pretty sure its a three disc though, it seemed pretty heavy for a one disc, and im pretty sure i could hear the flipper disc just from moving it around. could be wrong though.

I stated earlier in the thread that the total time of all the chamber matches sans entrances was 5 hours and 55 minutes. I they're putting it on two discs, then it's clear that they aren't going to put the 2005 one on in full, which leaves room for the bonus content on disc two.

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume XIII

I feel like a bit of an idiot for rushing to get the "Best of the World Heavyweight Championship" set in December for $19.99, but now I'm really glad I held off on the Jeff Hardy and Best of RAW 2009 sets.

Thank you very much. This is even more proof of what I've been trying to explain to some of you, that the 2005 Chamber match WILL NOT be included in full. And it also looks like the website I got the listing from was indeed accurate with it being a 2 disc set afterall...

Thanks for the heads up! I'll have to pick up the Jeff Hardy set and maybe the Batista and Tag Teams DVDs as well. I have or don't care to have the others.

HBK's Farewell Speech from RAW is on the Extreme Rules DVD as an extra. Saw a picture of the DVD on Ebay. Awesome.

Saw that too, glad they decided to include it, i assumed they would put it on the WM26 DVD, but i guess they would want to boost sales for Extreme Rules, since WM would sell anyways based on the name alone. It wasn't a bad ppv anyways, but it's nice that they included it.

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume XIII

I was lucky to receive my TNA Destination X dvd today via mule carrying service.

Also after 3 TWEC stores I finally found the Fandamonium: Beer Money/MCMG dvd at FYE for $14.99. Also grabbed Extreme Rules for $15 at Walmart. No sign of the Perfect/Dusty/WCW dvd set yet.

Mine is in the next state over so I'm hoping for it today or tomorrow at the latest.
