I saw that, but I normally wait until I can get the BDs for about $10-12 each. I guess Black Friday/Cyber Monday isn't that far off, so I can wait longer.

On that same website, there is an article that lists where you can pre-order the new Macho Man DVD set, the Collector's Edition, for 13 bucks...here is the link...

Story is in the middle of this page.

Worth the shot, I got in on the Amazon.ca price error of $15 on the same exact set. Wonder why this set is giving so many sites issues with pricing it correctly.

I normally buy Blu-Rays now but at this price for all the extra swag I can live with the DVD version.

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume XIII

WWEShop's current DVD/Blu sale (http://wwene.ws/1uvzqLj) combined with this code -> WWEAFFDVD1 makes for some good deals.

Price list on Wrestlingdvdnews -
http://www.wrestlingdvdnews.com/full...vd-sale/74715/

Shipping costs work out better if buying a couple at once, otherwise it's $6.99 for one!

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume XIII

Did anyone get the Attitude Era vol 2 set? I havent made it through all of it, but its more of a compilation set with interviews in between. Nice to see some people absent from the first set such as Sunny and The Godfather.

They're actually doing an Owen WWE DVD - with doc! Worth a revival of this Wrestling DVD thread, isn't it?

Interesting that no one ever checked-out the Blu-Ray Store Exclusive of Wrestlemania 31 in FYE?

I scored on a lot of Chikara DVDs on Ebay.

14 DVDs and 1 Blu-Ray for $89. Seeing as how they normally go for $15 plus shipping, I'm pretty excited right now.

Also picked up some PWG stuff I've had my eye on for a bit.

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume XIII

I just picked up WWE Vengeance 2006, which was a single disc. Shortly afterwards, I learned that there's a two-disc edition (amazon.com/gp/product/B000EXZKSK) featuring highlights of DX's 2006 run.

I know this is hardly the first instance of the WWE releasing multiple editions of a title: Mick Foley's Greatest Hits and Misses and Brock Lesnar: Here Comes the Pain come to mind.

Apologies in advance if someone's posted this already, but if someone could point to the way to a site that documents the variations of WWE blu-ray and DVD releases that would be much appreciated.

Anyone still buy wrestling dvds or given up and just gotten the WWE network. Straight outta Dudleyville is supposed to be out in two weeks. I'll definately get that. Anyone know what matches are on it? Also Rumored for later this year is a history of the Hardcore championship set and Attitude Era volume 3.

And a lot of these titles are also going to be made available in a Steelbook casing as well...probably exclusive to Best Buy is my best guess.

I haven't been in a huge rush to get any of the WWE dvds of late. I just don't find myself watching like I used to, so instead I'll just wait until I get them super cheap.

Ed, I agree with you as this year's WM 32 event is a perfect example of the ho-hum attitude taken on by fans as of late. The event seems so out of touch and lacking of excitement and energy as to me, it's just another PPV event and not sure they will break the 100,000 attendance mark unless WWE doctors the numbers of the attendance, which they have been known to do. Just blah!

The last time I bought wrestling on disc was when FYE had a bunch on sale. I got 6 or 7 different blue ray titles for $5 and change each.

That's a prefect description. Ho-hum is exactly the way I feel about this years Mania. In years past I looked forward to watching it live. This year I don't really care, and haven't even watched the last few Raws yet. On top of that, airing the same night is the season finale of The Walking Dead. What I will probably end up doing is watch Mania until a littel before 9, then turn on Walking Dead and finish Mania after that at some point. With the network I really can watch it anytime.
I will continue buying the Wrestlemanias on disc, as the is the only title that I usually buy every year.

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume XIII

So I got Straight Outta Dudleyville this morning, they had the bluray Steelbook at Best Buy. First thing its a quality steelbook, not a cheap store exclusive kind that will break right away. The documentary is very good, heavily focused on ECW and the Attitude Era, plus a ton of classic matches. Its good that its a TV-14 set, but I am slightly disappointed that a lot of the ECW clips are censored. Still very highly recommended.

I also got the Dudleys set, but I ended up just grabbing the standard DVD. I liked the Steelbook, but couldn't justify spending an extra $10 for it.

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume XIII

Anyone know where to find the "banned" Owen Hart dvd set? I saw one person on ebay had it with a Best Buy sticker on it, but when you look it up on their website it says "Not available for store pickup". I even hit my local store yesterday and wandered around the dvd section for about 20 minutes. They no longer have a wrestling section, just new releases. I don't know, I may just order 2-3 of them from the website and if they aren't the "banned" version, I'll return them.

With all my rare dvds I need to add this to the collection, but for retail, or retail plus s&h....not paying scalper prices!

If you don't know the story behind this dvd, check out wrestlingdvdnetwork.com

Best Buy puts all the wrestling Blus/DVDs at the end of the Action section, at least that's what they did at the store I go to.
