Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume XIII
Just so you guys are aware...Kmart is selling the 2012 WWE NOC DVD a little early and they have it for 15 bucks as it's not scheduled to be available until this Tuesday, so if you're interested, Kmart might be your best bet.

So if you were one of the few people who didn't pre-order the CM Punk Blu-Ray from Amazon.com for $21.99 and were pissed on Tuesday when it went to the weird price of $29.93 - it is now back at the pre-order price of $21.99. If you want to get it at that price - I suggest you order it today as the price will probably go back up (although probably not to $29.93) starting on Sunday. If you can't find anything else to get your order past $25 for free shipping - BestBuy.com has the Blu-Ray priced at $21.99 before tax with free shipping on any order.

Be aware that sometimes the Best Buy online inventory portal might be off a bit as some stores are listed as not having them and then they end up having them and vise-versa. Better to call the stores first before heading out there as their online thing is hit or miss.

Unlikely to be any updates on the Attitude set 'til early November, according to WWEDVDNews.com.
I think we can work out why. All promotion ceased until after the election.

^ I've seen a cover for the Attitude Era release. It's been listed on wwedvdnews for a while now. I'm basing this on memory, but I believe it's red-tinted with Austin and The Rock on the cover.
EDIT: Well, I was way off. I just found the link, and it said it's just promotional art. Sorry!

I'm hoping we can get an "18 days till release date" post tomorrow.

Technically, I didn't "say" anything. Also, my keyboard isn't capable of providing tone. Anywho...
Anyone else get the Lesnar re-release? I grabbed the Blu-ray, only because I never owned the original release.

Just a heads-up, ShopTNA is having a pretty big sale from what I can see. Looks like ALL of their dvds are on sale for around $5 each.

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume XIII
some stuff i hope is on the AE set that are not repeats
rock/sock vs show/taker buried alive match smackdown 1999
sable/jacqeline bikini contest fully loaded 1998
nation/dx street fight raw 1998
rock/hhh iron man match
hhh/jericho fully loaded
steel cage match where outlaws/xpac join dx
i just hope they don't include to many repeats, some of that austin stuff is on like 5 different dvds already
and cover a variety of shows and performers
but im afraid it will be half austin stuff we have seen, like the beer truck that we have heard a million time from jr/vince how great it was

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume XIII
For me, I am fine getting repeats on this set because all of it will be blur free on blu ray for the first time. I struggle to watch blurred matches. So when we get HHH vs. Jericho from RAW 2000 for the fourth time, but first time clean, I'm fine with that.

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume XIII
Once again, it is well known they are not releasing any information due to Linda McMahon's Senate campaign. Sometime after the election (maybe even tomorrow?) they should release the information as to what will be on the DVD/Blu-Ray sets.

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume XIII
i agree, but this is a record, if they release cover art and match listing tomorrow, or even late tonight, which they probably will it would be 13 days
never happened before, 13 days and no info at all for a dvd release date, usually its 6 weeks before
anyways i really hope they include the iron man match, maybe put it as a blu ray extra to give fans that extra push to buy blu ray, and they could still have the main program without a 1 hour match
and maybe some rare matches from shotgun saturday night, sunday night heat

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume XIII
My biggest wants are some WWF title changes that haven't been released, or only released in blurred form. The blurring was really tough for RAW episodes because of how many signs were in the crowd.
- Steve Austin vs. The Undertaker vs. Kane (Breakdown 9/27/1998)
- The Rock vs. Mankind (Royal Rumble 1/24/1999)
- Steve Austin vs. The Undertaker (Monday Night Raw 6/28/1999)
- HHH vs. Mankind (Monday Night Raw 8/24/1999)
- Vince McMahon vs. HHH (Smackdown 9/14/1999)
- HHH vs. The Rock vs. Davey Boy Smith vs. Mankind vs. The Big Show vs. Kane (Unforgiven 9/26/1999)
- HHH vs. The Big Show (Monday Night Raw 1/3/2000)
- HHH vs. The Rock (Judgment Day 5/21/2000)
- Kurt Angle vs. The Rock (No Mercy 10/22/2000)
- Steve Austin vs. Kurt Angle (Monday Night Raw 10/8/2001)
