Confusion not intended. If they have it then the details are hopefully coming soon.

Picked up the TNA Fandimonium DVD at Friday's ROH house show. Very good collection of the Guns's TNA PPV matches, along with their Global Impact 2 match. Haven't looked at the Beer Money section yet.

cool stuff!, if you get a chance could you take a look at the contents of the Beer Money/MCMG pack and post what matches are on?

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume XIII

Here are some screens of the menus, which list the matches. There's no insert included to actually TELL YOU WHAT MATCHES ARE ON THE DVD SET, which was annoying enough for a low-end release like the PWG Sells Out sets, let alone a major company release like this.

Beer Money Inc.

Guns -

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume XIII

Thanks! for the screencaps.

Yea, it sucks how TNA don't include inserts or even complete match listing on the back for their non-ppv DVDs.

Of all the great matches MCMG have had, TNA thought fans wanted to see a singles match where one of them gets utterly squashed? Idiots. Not to mention, a match with, what, five or six tag teams, in a cage, with a dumb gimmick. Tsk, tsk, TNA.

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume XIII

Finally picked up TNA Best of X Division vol 1. Is there any difference between the single release and the 2 pack with both volumes? I was reading a review on amazon and someone mentioned it but didn't go into any details.

So before I open it up is there a difference?

From what i recall the original Best of X Division Vol. 1 is 2 disc and the one packed with Vol. 2 is 1 disc.

There doesn't seem to be any differences (i only own the 2 disc) but i imagine the 1 disc probably suffers from compression and pixelation issues since it's like 3 and half hours on 1 disc.

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume XIII

Sounds pretty good. I like how they included a lot more RAW and SD matches, especially the Last Man Standing with Khali which i thought was surprisingly entertaining.

Agreed. I was hoping they would include that.

The pros:

-Body Bag match with Warrior
-Casket Match with Mabel
-First-ever match with Mankind
-Boiler Room Brawl was one of my favorites as a kid
-The 2-on-1 casket match is the only UT/Orton match I don't have, because that PPV kinda sucked
-UT/Khali was very entertaining and I always wanted to see it on DVD
-Last Ride match with Kennedy
-The SD match with Big Daddy V was a nice throwback to their matches from '95.
-The Big Show/UT cage match was a lot of fun, and would complete their awesome series.

The cons:

-UT/Austin is going to be BURIED (!) in blurs.
-Ditto for UT/Kane and anything from '99.
-They couldn't find ONE gimmick match from '00 to '04?
-The Concrete Crypt match was absolute garbage. It was a match with no marquee value that wasn't fun to watch and had one of the most baffling endings of all time. Terrible match.
-UT/Heidenreich was not good, and I say that as someone who thought their first match was really good and put Heidenreich over big time. But this match kinda sucked.
-The First Blood match with Kennedy was not good
-I'm not a fan of seeing UT/Orton and UT/Edge HIAC matches on the set. One is on the HIAC set, the other is on the Edge set. As funny as it sounds, I would have much preferred seeing UT/Bossman.

All in all, nine matches out of 21 sound good to me, which is definitely a mixed bag. If it's on sale when it comes out, I'll most likely get it, but I don't see this as a "must buy." I'm more interested in the Elimination Chamber anthology.

ROH has all DVDs from 2002-2008 on sale for 10 bucks, plus select shows from 2009.

I don't know if anybody collected or bought them but do you think Big Vision should do a multi disc Before They Were Stars: Bryan Danielson and if they did would you buy it? BV has the rights to alot of indy companies and FIP and some ROH so they should be able to out together an amazing 2-3 Disc Set of his Indy work

Seems to me that they purposely excluded anything from the Bikertaker era. I would've liked to see a match or two from that period, but I get why they didn't put any from then.

Damn! was a afraid of that.

I would never order from TNAShop, it will probably be an exclusive for like a month or so. I'm just going to wait til ROHWrestling.com gets them.

Yea, there were about a dozen or so i remember from few years back that were first on TNAShop (even tagged by them being "exclusive and only available here") then after a month or two, sometimes a little longer, available on Amazon, ROH, Best Buy, etc.

The only one i recall that was strictly a TNAShop exclusive and wasn't available elsewhere was Sacrifice 2007. I remember i had a tough time getting it and finally found a brand new copy on ebay which cost me like $25 + shipping. Wasn't too bad, there was another one charging $40.

There were several from 2005-2006 ppvs that were on ROHWrestling couple months after, they were either TNAShop exclusive or Best Buy exclusive;

Hard Justice 2005 (TNAShop)
Slammiversary 2005 (TNAShop)
No Surrender 2005 (TNAShop)
Sacrifice 2005 (TNAShop)
Unbreakable 2005 (TNAShop)
Turning Point 2005 (TNAShop)
Against All Odds 2006 (Best Buy)
Destination X 2006 (TNAShop)
Sacrifice 2006 (TNAShop)
Hard Justice 2006 (TNAShop)
Victory Road 2006 (TNAShop)
No Surrender 2006 (TNAShop)
Turning Point 2006 (Best Buy)
Victory Road 2007 (FYE)
No Surrender 2007 (FYE)

I got all those PPV DVDs from ROH, during the time...was so glad they carried all those.

They also released the first Triple Threat Boxset with Hard Justice 2005, Slammiversary 2005 and No Surrender 2005 exclusive to FYE (not exactly sure on this) in the US and Future Shop in Canada. It came out i think late 2005-early 2006.

I think they just test out the sales on their website first, if it bombs then they just distribute it everywhere.

Their shipping price to Canada is outrageous; $30 up to $49.95. So a DVD for us would cost close to $50 US.

That's good news, thanks for the info. I hate ordering DVDs online; I like to pick out my own copy, and knowing TNA, they'll probably send a dented, loose copy of Turning Point '07 or something else stupid.
