I'm in. Been holding off watching comic book movies for a while now saving them for this challenge. I know it's not very original, but I've really wanted to see some movies from comic books/graphic novels lately.

This is what I came up with doing a search in my collection for "birthday". I pretty much included anything that talked about a birthday in the description.

I tried messing around with a table yesterday but didn't like the results (plus it wasn't as easy to work with and was taking away time I could've spent watching sleazy movies) so I just went with different sizes and colors. Let me know what you think.

According to the guidelines, Westerns would've been okay because the June Challenge is now a "Historical" Challenge and "Westerns" are just a subset. However, I'd assume since you can watch Westerns for the June Challenge, you wouldn't want to devote a week to them in May.

The first 20 movies picked will become my goal for this mini-challenge.

The only rules are:
1. No picking the same title twice, this includes picks from 2 different users. Duplicate titles will be ignored.
2. 2 movie choices per post. You can post multiple times.

I reserve the right to adjust the order if I can't watch the movie due to a format issue, as in, if the next movie is a blu-ray title but I'm at work, I can only watch DVDs. As soon as I get home, I'll do the blu-ray.

I was waiting for something like this.

I'm not really sure which is worse because I imagine Barbie is probably better written and directed. On the other hand, it's Barbie. At least it's the one that's in 3D :)

The second one I can handle easy.

The first choice, from what I recall, is a guy at a podium, cable access style, screaming for a couple hours. The guy may or may not swap out with another guy. It is my fault for having it in the first place, I guess.

Count for what though?

For this Challenge, counting is irrelevant I imagine.

But for other purposes, everyone counts things differently.

Some count everything as one, because they count by title. So a single film DVD counts as one, as does a 100 film boxset.

Some count by physical disc. If that title comes on two DVDs they'd count it as two.

Some people count films, so it would be two.

Personally, in all my DVD related counting, I'm centered on films. My goal is to watch every film I own. So if a DVD contains 3 films, no matter how many phtsical discs it contains, it counts as 3 in all my thinking. When I list my DVDs I list them by film. I want to be able to find a film no matter what 'title' it may be on.

yeah i was gonna put two barbie's but based on how many kid films I didnt wanna make it too easy esp if u got a kid to watch em with. and I love me some bad horror and even I cant do terror toons 2 again.

Ok, I'll make it a Demon Double Feature Night for you. Scratch the Ewoks and add Hellbound - Book Of The Dead.

I'd say watch Aggressive Christianity 101 Part 4 - Demon Possession Part 2 first so that you'll be prepared to combat Satan's minions, but unless you've already watched part one I fear for your mortal soul.
